Young Giles (17): Time to go to sleep! (yells)

Giles woke up, gasping for breath. Not again! These stupid dreams, Eyghon's purpose. he knew where to find him. He got off the park bench that had been his bed for the night and looked down to see Jenny Calendar's mirror. He grabbed it and saw her walking away. He ran to her and gave it back.

Jenny: Thank you sir.

Giles: I'm sorry. About my...my past. You were never supossed to be involved.

Jenny: Thanks for the mirror. And...nice tattoo.

Jenny walked away, and Giles stood there. How did Jenny know about the Mark of Eyghon? Only Ethan...ETHAN! And Giles sped off to find Ethan.

~SECTION TWO~

Giles knocked on the hotel room door and then ripped it off its hinges. Ethan was asleep in his bed. Giles crossed the room and yanked Ethan off his bed, waking him up.

"You told her," snarled Giles.

"Huh?" Ethan asked.

"You know darn well what," Giles growled. "Eyghon!"

"The Slayer should know," Ethan said.

"I was talking about Jenny Calendar!" Giles gasped. Ethan got up and tackled Giles to the floor. Pure hatred was in Giles's eyes as Ethan pinned Giles to the floor. Ethan purposely pushed hard on Giles's shoulder blades. Giles moaned.

While Ethan ranted on about the shell of Peosiden, Giles felt his whole body become numb. He remembered what it could do. How he remembered.

Somehow the subject transferred to Eyghon. Ethan gave Giles the Ring of Eyghon and told him to say the words on the torn-out page. He would let Jenny go.

"Eyghon, come to me," recited Giles. Ethan got Jenny out of the closet, she unconcious, and threw her outside. Matenince would get her.

"I never said anything about letting you go," Ethan said. He threw Giles to the floor, the Ring still on his index finger. He then preceeded to chain every part of Giles to the floor so he couldn't move.

"No, Ethan, please!" begged Giles, helpless.

~SECTION THREE~

"Five more miuntes," Ethan told Giles. It was almost midnight, when Eyghon would come and take over Giles's body. Bloody Mark!

"Ethan, you don't know what you're doing!" begged Giles. "Please, we can fix this. I know we can. I can. Please! Just for once, have some mercy!"

"One more minute," Ethan said. Giles felt his head filling with memories. Eyghon was here. He knew.

"Three...two...one!" yelled Ethan, and incredible pain swirled around Giles's body. He felt as though his chest was being pressed tight into him, his lungs being crushed, every inch of his body on deathly fire...

Eyghon wasn't in Giles. But when Giles and Ethan woke, they were sixteen, in Ethan's bedroom in England.

~SECTION FOUR~

(Note: I skipped two parts. The first was E&G at sixteen, with the gang and Jenny ghosts and watching it, the second an alternate reality where Xander and Willow and Oz were dead and Buffy had no Watcher)

"Go have a snack," Ethan told Aaron and Aaron, two vampires. Aaron 1, the girl, bent close to Giles's ear. Aaron 2, the boy, tried to bite Giles.

Giles felt Aaron 2's fangs barely sink into his neck, but it hurt. He screamed, to the delight of everyone in the room.

Buffy and Jenny scrambled into the hotel room. Jenny kept whacking Ethan with her purse while Buffy staked all the vamps in the room. Ethan threw Jenny off him and pushed Buffy aside and took his stake, Giles's stake, and raised it above his heart.

"I want this done!" yelled Ethan, and plunged the stake into Giles. Buffy hit his arm, and the stake swerved and cut Giles's stomach. He screamed.
