Stitches
Once about ten years ago I had to get stitches form me doing something stupid. At this time it was the most horrible thing that had ever happen to me. If you do stupid things bad things are sure to follow.
When I was about six years old the most important thing to me was watching Power Rangers. This was my favorite ever. I would watch this show everyday, and after I would watch this show I would re-act what I saw. Well one day I was watching this show and the power rangers were fighting a monster with their swords. As every young child they like to do what they see. So I set off to find a sword.
I went to go try to find something to use as a sword, a stick, pole, etc. well I had a great idea. I knew were my mother keep her knifes. So I went to the kitchen to get my sword. Well my mother keep her knifes up in a cupboard high up, so I had to get a chair to get the knife. I pushed the chair over to the counter, and climbed up. I opened the cupboard and grabbed the biggest knife there was, which was a butcher knife.
Once I had my sword I was happy. I could now re-act my show. At this time you would wonder were the parents are, well at this time I was being watched by my grandmother, but she wasn’t doing the watching part. Well I swung the knife around in the air pretending I was a Power Ranger fighting a monster, of course I was winning.

After about five minutes of swinging the knife around I beat the monster and like the Power Rangers I did a closing move and stuck the knife in my shorts. I didn’t notice the pain at first, but all I could feel was a cold wetness running down my leg. I looked down and saw a pool of red. I took the knife out and saw the blood on it. I started to panic so I ran into the room my grandmother was in and started to cry. All she could do was scream. After about ten minutes and lots of blood loss she called my mother. Then my mother rushed me over to the Emergence room. I didn’t think I needed to go be I did anyways. At the emergence room they had to put stitches in, which was my very first time. As they were putting the stitches in they had to strap my down because I wouldn’t stand still. I don’t know any kid that will let a doctor give them stitches. I scream so loud because it hurt. My mother said I that she could hear me from the waiting room which quit the distance away. From this point on I wasn’t aloud to touch a knife, not until I was thirteen or something like that.
To this day I still can’t fill the part of my leg I got stitches in. my doctor says that’s because I took the stitches out before I was suppose to. To this day I still laugh at myself, I can’t believe I was that stupid to stick a knife in my side. I think it wouldn’t have happened if my grandmother had watched me. Well that’s all in the past now.
