intro

If you have enough money you can buy a trading pass(500gp) and vending licence(1000gp). After you buy both of these you can sell items in the maretplace.

easy guide

ok the easiest way to get money on Gaia is using the vend (marketplace) and having a store. If you want to get money you need to buy something at unusually low prices, like a Chyaku Norisu at 60k. Then you can put it in your store for about 70k.
What you can also do is keep an item until the prices raise. EX: right now I have a katana which is worth about 45k right now. In a month or so, it will raise about 5k more, and that is when you sell it. Please do not be a price inflator, in other words don't be the person that raises the prices.

Simple guide:
20k- start with items like the momo monkey, fire sword, gwee, pixie, etc.
50k- awesome, you made it here, now sell items such as katana, lunar cloak, etc.
100k- You are doing FANTABULOUS! Now sell items such as demonic pendant, demonic pitchfork, dark halo, etc.
200k- you are so good at this, congratuations, but now you're on your own.

games


casino games

For both of these games you have to buy tokens. There is one that is more skill and one that is more luck. Cards is based on blackjack, aka 21, the card game. At the beginning the character is really good. Near the end he gets much easier. Just never raise over 13 or 14, unless you cheated and see u will lose. Also,watch out for when he can cheat. After you get a lot of tickets you can save them for a prize in the prize and joy shop, or just sell the tickets (ratio 2:1 in the vend).
The slots are really hard to win at unless you get REALLY lucky, so I suggest just don't try it. But the more tokens you put in the machine the more winnings you get.

fishing

When you are fishing you need bait and a fishing rod. Once you get enough money you can upgrade your rod and use grade A bait, which gives you the best fish, which means higher prices.

towns

In towns you are not supposed to advertised, however nothing in the ToS says you cant say pm me to see some cool dream avis or some awesome banners or avi art I created. I have and I've made a frikin killing like that.

word bump

In this you can get both gold, but not very many, and you could get credits, which you can exchange for a graduate's cap that you can sell in the vend, but it's not doing very good right now.

Jigsaw

Jigsaw is a game that is bassically a jigsaw puzzle. Put together the puzzle to get a small but worthwhile sum of money. The harder the difficulty the more money you get.

selling siggy items

A lot of people like to have things in their siggy like dream avatars, thread or guild banners, and avatar art. Making these equals pay. There are three ways to do these things (that I know of)
dream avis=the only way you can create this is by going to tektek.org(better) or GAvSim.com(terrible)
avatar art= People prefer to have it drawn and colored, so if you're not good at that then...DONT DO IT!!!
banners and advertisements=To make banners and advertisements you can copy people's avatars by right clicking on them and doing copy image. Then you can either go into paint and paste the image, or buy a photoshop program, but it costs 500 bucks, and paste it there.
guild signs=still use paint.

forums and arenas

intro

forums and arenas can get you a lot of money,even just by posting and vote in polls, even if they are retarded.However if you hold games and sell stuff, etc. you could get a lot of other stuff. The arenas may be hard to win, but if you make what the people love I could promise you that you will win.

This is where you can find games, contests, sell items, buy items, discuss topics, bump for money,etc.

contests and selling

If you check out the chatterbox there are a lot of advertisements about contests and games and sales and...stuff. What you can do is study these contests and try to duplicate them to create your own. Try to organize it the best you can.

selling and prizes

A lot of the time you will see thread signs of a type of game or a special sale, so what you want to do is try to duplicate, but not comepletely.You can make games, sell your items, and even have a giveaway and just wait for people to donate because they want to win. You will eventually have to give away the item, though, so don't keep the item too long.

This isnt really that hard just do the same thing you were doing in the vend.

arenas

Arenas are more for the creative, like I said earlier, but you could just enter if you're bored. If people vote you up, you can win money(probably not gonna happen). However, since this a guide for getting money, I do not encourage it.

arena topics

There are three arena topics, which are art, avatar, and house. If you want to enter the art arena, you have to do the best art you can. Before you enter you need to practice...ALOT!!!
If you want to enter the avatar contest first ask all of your friends what rate/tips/sugestions they have for you so that you can try to fix it based around that. When you perfect it the most you can, and you will most likely win.
Last arena topic is your house. This is all based on how you like it. If it looks cool then submit it. If not then don't.
