Well, it is becoming increasingly obvious to me of how boring life after high school really is. It's like normal summers, only with no school at the end to look forward to. I haven't seen some of my friends in what seems like ages, and now that school's started up again, it's just wierd being here at home while they're all back in high school. I can't even visit them anyway, apparently, once you graduate from my school, even on your very very last day, you aren't welcome in the school. They literally kicked us out of the cafeteria when we were hanging out there, waiting for the year book line to die down. They told us we could only be in line, or outside at the senior barbeque. Well, that has continued on, now we have to call ahead to a teacher we want to see, make an appointment to see them so we can get in to the school. It's freaking ridiculous. It's going to make visiting our friends a hassle. bastards.
Oh, look, I'm still unemployed! even at the end of freaking summer, I still haven't landed a job. I tried Target again, and that time I actually got 2 interviews. Then a few days later they sent me a stupid postcard that says they aren't interested and don't have any openings. Hello, of course you do, that is why you are hiring, and thus why Addie drug me there on her lunch break to get me there so I could apply!
So I'm still poor, unemployed, I haven't gotten my correspondence class work yet, and next fall when I am planning to get to Metro will be here in no time, I assure you.
My grandma's money is going down the drain, she wastes it on PBS crap and get rich quick schemes, and she still thinks she has a shitload of money coming to her. well, she's already blown through that too, and now it turns out, my parents have to take her finances into their own hands, spending money of our own. WTF, why are my 2 uncles and aunt helping? I wonder why this s**t from my grandma always somehow ends up getting shoved on to us, we're already broke-a** as it is!
Ack, and then there's Matt Lunger, a friend and classmate, who's younger brother died just afew days ago. That's been on me and Addie's minds for a few days, and we have only the information that the crappy school sends home in those shitty, non-informative letters. They said they'd give us info on memorials or whatever, but nothing came home with my brother today. Poor Matt though, that's just sad. cry I'm hoping that we haven't missed the vigil or whatever for him, me and Addie want to go for Matt. We didn't know eachother that well, but we went to Germany with the guy, and we did have fun arguing over the presidental elections a couple years ago. So, yeah, I'm hoping my former German teacher gets back to me on that really soon.
