“Hurry up All’s! The vampires are right behind us!,” Alicia wasn’t
patient for her twin sister Alex.
“Coming! My foots caught on this log.”
Alex was smart for the outdoors. They were special though. They had powers that no
one else had. A kind of a sixth-sense thing. Alex had the power to see things before they
happened and she could read peoples minds. Alicia on the other hand could teleport by using herbs. She can also talk to Alex through her mind. Well they both could really. But Alicia could also morph into animals. Her favorite was a raven or a black cat. She used it often to explore the areas where others couldn’t.
Alicia ran to help her sister. “Get up! Hurry! Run like Hell Alex!”
“I’m trying too. I cant get my leg out of this log!”
They heard screeches of the vampires not far behind. They were in demon form and were flying right after them step after step. They had gone into the dark woods earlier and saw all the vampires sleeping upside down on the trees. Then Alicia tripped over a rock and screamed. That was when the sun was going down as well. The vampires sharp black eyes stared into Alicia and Alex’s eyes as if to posses them. Then Alex got her strength and ran away with a tight grip on her sisters’ hand. Now Alex’s leg was caught on a log and couldn’t get it untangled.
“Just run Alicia! Go I’ll fight them off! Just go!”
Alicia obeyed her sister and ran. She ran on top of the hill and there saw her sister. Laying there as the vampires picked at her like buzzards on a dead carcass. She heard her sister scream “No! Go away you beasts from Hell! Stay away!” Just then there was a huge shadow and the king stepped up. He untangled Alex and looked at her in the eyes.
“Why do you disturb ones that do not disturb you?” With that the king took a sword out of its holster and stabbed Alex through her stomach. Alicia stood there in vain, sadness, and hatred. Tears ran down her pale white face. Her black hair stuck to her face for the tears caught hold of them. Right there and then she promised her self she will kill every last vampire on earth. She said a prayer and ran to the vampires. She slide under the king and took his sword. She swiped at the vampires. Trying to protect her sisters bloody body. Shadows grew around her. She knew something was going to happen and she was most likely going to parish as her sister did. She killed one, then two, then three. The king was getting furious at this.
“Get your swords and kill her now! I said kill her now you imbeciles!”
“Please all I ask of you is to let my sister’s body come with me for a good burial.”
“Fine. Just promise you wont tell any one where we are hidden.”
“Deal…”
With that Alicia ran home with her sisters body. Told her parents the story and told where the vampires were hidden.
