Trust me,once i saw the first ep of Hunter x Hunter I really fell in love with the innocent navie Gon.He was so cute!So I kept on watching,Leorio,Kurapika were just the best.Then.....I was like head over heals in love with the Assassin Killua-kun. (Ex.Assassin now).He that the most best personality,I just love him too much.Well I might not know alot about Hunter x Hunter,but I know its a great anime,a little boreing at first but then it gets to the jusicy stuff!

Gon Freaks
Height: 154 cm

BACKGROUND
The son of legendary hunter Ging Freaks, Gon is a provincial boy born and raised on a small island by his aunt Mito. His father, Ging, had left the island as a 12 year old to take the Hunter Exam, and came back 10 years later with Gon as a baby. There is nothing further said about his birth mother except that she and ging "separated". Gon does not care to know more about her, because he considers Mito-san his mother. Ging asked Mito (his cousin) to take care of Gon, but Mito took it a step further and was made his guardian in court, taking him away from Ging and telling him to go away and never come back. Ging did just that, and since then has not been seen.
Gon was raised in the wild of the forests, and has a great ability of surviving and living in the wild. at the age of 10, while running around in the forest, he met a hunter named Kaito who saved him from a wild Kitsune-Guma. Kaito killed the beast, and was going to kill its offspring, when Gon intervened and refused to allow it. Instead, Gon raised the kitsune-Guma into Kon, the master of the forests in Whale Island.
It was Kaito who told Gon about his father, who was Kaito's teacher. Gon had been taught that Ging had died, but Kaito explained that his father was a hunter and Mito had lied to him. Since that time, Gon had been determined to become a hunter and meet his father. However, finding Ging was, as Kaito said, the most difficult hunt of them all.
Gon eventually told Mito that he knew that she had lied about his father, and Mito had to agree to let Gon leave and become a hunter too, after he proved himself by capturing the Master of the Swamp (a cross between a giant fish and a lobster).
With this, Gon set out to become a hunter, and the HunterxHunter series was born.
Personality
Gon is the perfect reinforcement type: naive, pure, simple and stubborn. Gon's purity extends beyond the limits of right and wrong. He has his own set of principles he follows, and so things like stealing, or murder, do not register as inherently wrong to him. He will not compromise his own beliefs no matter what, and his naivety shows through here.

Killua Zoldick

BACKGROUND
The third son of the famous Zoldick assassin family, Killua has lived his whole life on Kukuru mountain, his family's remote and isolated residence. There, he was trained since birth by his brother Illumi in the assassin arts, which included training against poisons, electrocution, and pain. Killua as a child was hailed as the best assassin the Zoldicks had ever produced, and made heir of the family.
At the age of 6, as part of training, Killua was sent away to fight at the Celestial Tower until he reached the 200th floor. It took him two years to achieve this (but remember, he was six!).
Although Killua was not allowed to have friends, he developed a caring if distant relationship with the intendants (his family's servants), in particulate Kanaria. Besides that, he has something of a love-hate relationship with his family, who both torture and take care of him.
Despite all of this, Killua is not interested in being an assassin. At the age of 12 he ran away and joined the Hunter Exam because he was bored. Killua admitted to being tired of killing and bored of staying at home and following the family's plans for him.
During the Hunter Exam, Killua was again confronted by his brother Illumi, who manipulated him into thinking that he wasn't supposed to have friends. Killua quite the exam and left to go home again, but Gon, Leorio and Kurapika all went after him and got him back from his family, this time with his father's permission.
However, Silva said this about Killua when he left: "He'll come back, because he is my child."
Personality
Killua is a difficult personality to analyze. He begins as a rather bored, somewhat spoiled child, not trying half as hard as anyone else in the Exam and still being the best. However, once you get past his indifferent facade, Killua is a fun-loving kid, with a sweet tooth (what a sweet tooth!) and a competitive air, always looking to have fun and enjoy himself. Besides all this, Killua is generally more calm and analytical than Gon. He is also something of a liar, as most transformation users are, although he generally only does white lies and never without a reason.

Kurapika Kuruta

BACKGROUND
Kurapika is the last remaining member of the Kuruta tribe. The tribe lived in the isolated Lukuso area, until five years before cannon they were all killed by the Genei Ryodan (phantom brigade, a group of nen-using criminals). The reason was that the Kuruta posses the Scarlet Eyes, where the owner's eyes turn red when he is very angry or upset. The color is considered to be one of the seven most beautiful in the world. The Ryodan, besides killing everyone, also took their eyes, which eventually made it onto the black market.
Kurapika survived this massacre (how is not stated) and went on to become a Hunter. He wanted to be a Hunter to have access to the sort of information he needs to capture and destroy the Genei Ryodan. His other goal is to retrieve the eyes of his tribe.
Personality
Kurapika is intelligent and generally reasonable and quick minded. He is usually thoughtful, and not very talkative, but besides all that he is also very loyal, both to his friends and his ideals. He refuses to do something that would go against either of these, for example he will not kill a man unarmed (the prisoner in Trick Tower). Although he is a little withdrawn, he cares for his friends a lot and refuses to let them be hurt, sometimes to the point of pushing them away from him to keep them out of trouble.

Leorio

BACKGROUND
Leorio's past is not very well known. The only thing we know is that he had a friend named Pietro who died of a curable disease. The reason he wasn't cured was because they had all lacked the money needed to pay for the treatment. Leorio took this lesson to heart, and decided to become a doctor who wouldn't charge any fees for his services. Despite his intentions, however, he soon realized that he needed money to get into university, because the fees are very high.
Personality
Leorio is the sort of person that will hide things about himself so as to present a good image. He dislikes talking about himself, his goals, and his past, while preferring to listen to others. The reason is he likes to be seen as tough and capable, reliable. In the Hunter Exam he actually tries to make himself seem more shallow than he actually is by saying that all he wants is money.

BACKGROUND
Frankly, there is nothing to say. Hisoka has never spoken or seemed interested in his past. He simply shows up in the beginning of the series, and has never revealed anything about himself.

Something interesting to contemplate:
Hisoka's nen abilities are said to come from his favorite snacks as a child. Pansy Gum (Bungee Gum) was his favorite type of gum. He was said to have no money as a child and so chewed one piece of gum all the time, even after it had lost all flavor. Deceitful texture is the name of a sort of chocolate egg with a surprise in the center. Whether this is actually true or not? I have no idea. With Hisoka it is hard to be certain.
Personality
Hisoka is a magician, a trickster, and a clown. Despite this however, and his sometimes bizarre way of dressing, he is not to be taken lightly. His sometimes psychotic behavior is a front for a brilliant mind and great analytical abilities. Although he only follows his own wishes, which sometimes makes him seem erratic or volatile, Hisoka can actually control himself quite well when he sees the need for it.
