So, yeah, I very rarely post in this journal, but I felt like it today, as I wait for storms to hit my house. I adore thunderstorms, but hate waiting for them to finally get here.
Anyway, I'm pretty happy with the way my avi looks at the moment. Purple happens to be my favorite color, and she definitely reflects that. And I finally got those blasted Doll Ears and Aoi Cache Glasses I had been pining for forever! Now I just want the kitty plushies and perhaps a G-Blade or those new katanas, and I'll be pretty set.
I've been working a lot at EB lately. I *was* going to be an Assistant Manager at another store, but I decided against it for several reasons, so I'm still where I am. But I like it there, I like the people around me and the mall environment. It's just a shame that I need more money, lol.
So far so good on the trip down to AWA next month. I've had a room reserved since April, and I don't think I'll have any problems getting off from work. But, the new cosplay I'm taking down there with me (Kyouya from Ouran High School Host Club) is nowhere near ready. However, it is just a school uniform, but it's still a pain. And I'm sure I'll take Renji and Dark with me as well, predictably.
Speaking of Renji, I need my Bleach fix, bad. We've seen up to.. late 70's? or so, but I need more! I can't wait until the movie comes out! I'm still skeptical about the English dub, especially since they chose Johnny Yong Bosch to voice Ichigo (don't get me wrong, I love his work, but I cannot picture his voice coming out of Ichigo at all), but I'm sure I'll still watch it when it airs next month. I'm *really* anticipating the merchandise coming over here though!!
Let's see.. in other news, my manga collection is at 300 now. Whew. I really need to find out how much it would be to insure my entire collection of manga and stuff. If there was a fire or something, a lot of valuable stuff would be lost. Bad thoughts, bad thoughts..
Other than that.. not much has been going on. I adopted another cat that I found in a ditch (poor kitty!), but that's nothing new..
