Jet has herd rumor of the run-away prince and now is in a tree looking down at the scared teen by himself in a forest. Jet herd that he was purposively traveling with an old man but saw no one else, he was waiting for the right moment to ambush Zuko. He pulled out his poison filled dagger, jumped down from the tree and cut Zuko’s cheek.
Jet stood in front of him smirking “Prince Zuko of the fire nation, prepare for your death!” Zuko didn’t move and simply said, “most think I have already died.” Jet’s eyes narrowed him “well?” “What?” Jet asked coldly “You’ve come to kill me, why am I still standing?” Zuko asked calmly “why don’t you defend yourself?” “Why should I fear death?” “You will die alone, with no one here to morn for you. Your body will lie here to rot. ” “Nothing will stop that now.” Jet’s grasp tightened on his dagger and threw it at him aiming for his head. Zuko slightly stepped to side with the dagger hitting a tree, Zuko grabbed the dagger and walked toward Jet. At first Jet stepped back in fear then smirked and drew his spears. Zuko stood still when Jet drew his spears, he tossed the dagger to him it landing on the floor a near his foot. Jet looked briefly at the dagger then back at Zuko who said calmly “I am not your enemy.” “Two seconds ago you were inviting death why are you avoiding it now?!” “No mortal can avoid death-” “Shut up! You are the prince of the fire, you are next to lead this war! It’s your father’s fault why so many innocent people are dead!!” “Him and my grandfather ,but I am not going to lead this war. My nation is against me including my sister and father, but because I am still a firebender I am not accepted by other kingdoms or tribes.” Jet’s eyes narrowed “Why are you telling me this? Why should I care about your pathetic life?” “I’m not saying you have to and, I want you to understand that I am not your foe and…I needed to stall you.” Zuko said “What?” Jet said then feel something hit the back of his head and fell unconscious. “Zuko, must you always get in a fight when I leave?” “for once I didn’t start this one, what should we do with him?” “Leave him here, we’ve stayed here to long.” Iroh said Zuko nodded...and i stop there
