I name a bunch of my pets after stuff from the Myst worlds, because I'm happily obsessed with that too. XD Here's the full list:
Riven (Fa'e) - Both an Age and a game. XD Yeah, so he was originally named after the game. Bite me.
Yeesha (Kaju) - The name of Atrus' daughter. Mentioned in the novel <i>Myst: The Book of D'ni</i>, appears in the games Myst III: Exile and Uru: Ages Beyond Myst (and expansions).
Veelai (Kaju) - A D'ni word meaning... well, the meaning is currently unknown to fans, but it's something like 'mind' or 'strength'. n_n
Chihso (Oculai) - A D'ni word meaning 'archivist'.
Kadish Tolesa (Verlashi) - Named after the Kadish Tolesa Age in Uru: Ages Beyond Myst. Kadish's coloring is actually inspired by the Age, the result of the colorist being equally obsessed with Myst things. XD
Shroomie (Penna) - The name of an odd race of giant lobster-esque creatures living in the Teledahn Age, in Uru: Ages Beyond Myst.
Katran (Penna) - The correct name of Atrus' wife, Catherine. (The only reason she's called Catherine is because Atrus could never pronounce 'Katran'. Hehe.)
Reekoo (Avaji) - A reekoo is a small, cute rodent-like creature appearing in the book <i>Myst: The Book of Ti'ana</i>.
Lehnah (Aeta) - A D'ni word meaning 'journey'.
Amateria (Pard) - Named after the Amateria Age in Myst III: Exile.
Edanna (Pard) - Named after the Edanna Age in Myst III: Exile.
Terahnee (Pard) - Named after the world of Terahnee in the book <i>Myst: The Book of D'ni</i>.
Eder Kemo (Hyvern) - Named after the Eder Kemo Age in Uru: Ages Beyond Myst.
Eder Gira (Hyvern) - Named after the Eder Gira Age in Uru: Ages Beyond Myst.
Kadish Tolesa (Hyvern) - Yes, I named two pets this. XP I love the Age very, very much... and the hyverns are inactive now, so it doesn't conflict much. Named after the Kadish Tolesa Age in Uru: Ages Beyond Myst.
Relto (Hyvern) - Named after the Relto Age in Uru: Ages Beyond Myst.
