Avatar the Last Airbender ~ Interest Check ✔️
Hey everyone! After recently revisiting the ATLA series on Netflix I thought I’d like to make a group role play based on the series, with more of a modern twist.
Our story would take place in modern time, with all of the tribes working more of
Sovereign city states in a nation together. Each has their own leader, the war of the fire nation has passed and all four tribes are in a time of peace. Modern advancements have made life easier for the inhabitants of the city states, however, bending is slowly becoming even more of a lost art, much less people are inheriting the ability to bend. However, those who have may enroll at special schools to perfect their bending under the tutelage of a mastered individual depending on their element. The Avatar is still around, however, mainly seen as a celebrity these days due to much less war, and incoming threats. However, the avatar is still the strongest individual in the nation.
This is where our story begins, the avatar has gone missing. The Fire Nation is attempting to rise again and reclaim what they lost long ago. They want total control of the nation again, and the avatar isn’t around to stop them. A group of individuals (10, 2A, 2W, 2E, 2F, 2NA) is picked to go and find the avatar and bring him back to end the fire nation’s uprising. However, the group doesn’t know that one of the firebenders is a spy for the fire lord and has been setting them back multiple times, as well as informing the nation of their location sending them into multiple traps.
This would be a long term adventure action role play, I’m planning for 10 characters but this is subject to change. The avatar will be an NPC.

Alright, cool! So basically, all I really want to say is that Letti is an extremely dynamic character but she's a character that I'm somewhat worried about, I'm worried about her being a character who charges head on and can't be tamed. (which isn't a bad thing, I like dynamic characters. I'm not trying to bash at all. lol) but throughout the role play I am hoping to see some character development and growth with Letti! As I do with all of them. I'm kinda just looking at her like Korra right now from TLOK, as someone who is more brash and could use reigning in at times. But she eventually becomes this cool, calm, and collected individual. I'm hoping to see that kind of growth within your character throughout their journey! I just see her as somewhat two dimensional right now.

Our story begins with our ragtag group finally coming together outside of Ba Sing Se to start their journey to find the avatar, some of them were recruited to go find the avatar from their home nations, some of them were given a second chance at life by being able to join this mission, and some of them are just tag-a-longs. The group is meeting for the first time now, preparing the explore the Earth Nation which was the Avatar's last known location, but what they don't know is that the Fire Nation is following them closely, because one of them is a traitor. This person will constantly be setting them back in the search for the avatar, this group has an entire nation gunning for them and have been given the impossible mission to find the avatar who just up and disappeared, will they be able to accomplish such a feat?
