I had a very busy and fun weekend.
Friday
I didn't do much. I worked from home all day. I went to this dude's house in NE. He randomly popped up on Grindr with a nice body and nice sized d**k and that was enough for me to go over there. He was tall and cute, so that definitely helped. I think he was African, per his accent, but he wasn't very communicative. The sex was quick and amazing but I think we hit a disconnect when he asked me if I was good health wise and I didn't hear him. I probably won't hear from him again, which is a shame. He was cute, tall, a top and had a nice d**k. Oh well. After work hours, I laid in bed and did nothing. Basically just played video games and watched anime. I told myself that I would be productive for the rest of the weekend if I allowed myself to do that. That's why I love working from home, a lot of freedom to do what you want and it feels like my weekend is extended because I didn't have to commute, I could lay down most of the day and I don't have to leave the house....plus I still have two full days to myself afterward.
Saturday
Most of the day on Saturday I didn't do anything. I went to the gym, did some cleaning up at home and I cooked the chicken that I had taken out quite some time ago. Johnny called me while I was in the shower. I called him back as soon as I got out and he said he was in the city. I told him that I'd be up there later to take mom to the airport and that I'd hit him when I dropped mom off. I committed to taking mom to the airport so I left and got to my sister's at around 5:30pm. I left there with mom at about 6pm, dropped her off and went straight to Johnny's.
I hadn't seen him since right before Thanksgiving...and he's still same ole' Johnny. Irking. Annoying. Lowkey aggravating. I think he gets a lot of passes from me because he's cute. I was supposed to go out to dinner with James Saturday night but I didn't feel like leaving Johnny's so I cancelled on him and Johnny offered to cook me dinner if I went out with him that night. I obliged because I'm not going to say no to a ***** cooking for me. sweatdrop He baked chicken thighs and sautéed some spinach. It was good, I was hesitant to eat because I was relatively cleaned out just incase we were going to do it but...I wasn't saying no to food so I ate anyway. Plus I took an immodium pill earlier in the day and clean eating works in tandem with your digestive system. Not against it wink
So we eventually went out, first to Club Bunz in Baltimore and then to another place. It was just another night out, again, Johnny is lucky he is fine and tall or else I'd stay home. We got back to his place, I wasn't sure whether or not I should go home or not. I think he pissed me off earlier in the night and I know on the way home he was texting his hoes, which is disrespectful so I was over him. As I was mulling around in his apartment contemplating what I was going to do, he asked me to hurry up, lock the door and get in bed.....so at that point I guess I was staying the night sweatdrop
We fuked, it was great, he recorded a few little snippets and posted it to his freak twitter, which I still haven't mentioned, and then we passed out. I woke up the next morning after 7am to finish this book ahead of our book club brunch that same day.
Sunday
I finished the book on Johnny's couch by 9:30am and took my a** right back to bed. I was so sleepy and so happy that the book was an easy read. I delayed getting out of bed and opted to shower there and head straight to the brunch in yesterday's clothes.
Brunch was at 12:15pm at Oz in Arlington, VA...also known as Ashley's restaurant in RHOP. The book was "The Haunting of Hip Hop". We were there for what felt like forever. We didn't leave the restaurant until 4pm and I didn't get home until around 5pm after taking Natè home. Great conversation though and I was surprised that they all beat me there.
I was supposed to go to dinner with James but I cancelled again because I hit up Bilal and he told me to come over for dinner at 7pm. Plus, James basically wanted me to come pick him up and transport him to dinner....wherever that would be...and I just...didn't...feel like it. Plus it's kinda a no brainer. Go to Bilal's for free food or have to go out and pay for dinner after I had already paid for brunch? Um....the answer was obvious. So, I took my a** home and took a nap. Luckily, I didn't have a headache like I did after Kapno's on our last book club brunch but I did feel sick/tired from partying, and then our 4-hour brunch.
Bilal cooked chicken breast with a delicious sauce and a pasta salad. Honestly, I was still full from brunch but I ate as we watched the Golden Globes...which were boring as hell. A few key wins include: Regina King for her role in Beale Street, Mahershala Ali for his role in Greenbook, Black Spiderman winning best animated feature and The Assassination of Gianni Versace winning best actor (Darren Criss deserved that win) and best limited series. I got home by 11:20 to submit Derrick's nomination for the Temple Diamond Award. He had called me a few weeks back to ask if I'd submit a nomination for him and then called me yesterday and said the deadline was midnight that night.
And that was my weekend. A lot of time spent with people that reciprocate my energy. Bilal asked me whether or not I would talk to Marlon about how I feel (I've come to the realization that I actually only hate Marlon, not so much anyone else) and I told him that I felt like it'd be insensitive for me to make it all about me during this time. Instead, I was going to redirect and refocus my energy into those who are giving me that energy and those positive vibes right tf back. Beza thinks that everything will be hashed out while we're in Thailand....I doubt it... but we'll see. I'm about to go home, relax and get some more work done.
One Love.
