Noragami was an anime I wasn't really interested in watching-- until I got it recommended to me by a friend. Noragami is fantastic in many ways. Here's the main trio. First of all, Yato-- the homeless war god who does a Gintama and works odd jobs for not even a half of a penny in US currency, is our main man. We slowly learn more about this sharp-toothed greedy god, and even learn his real name (spoilers). Yukine-- the ghost-boy who transforms into Yato's weapon (regalia) and whips up into shape in one of the saddest scenes in history is the side-ho who has a crush on Hiyori, Yato's future girlfriend wife. Hiyori-- the half-dead cat girl who wants her tail to be gone and return to normal, who is in love with Yato. It's canon. There's an entire episode where these characters are falling from a building. It's intense. Noragami is an epic tale of discovery, loss, and friendship with great characters (gooooo Kazuma) and art. Noragami gets eight 5-yen coins out of ten.
