Ender's physical body is a recreation of the original body he had before he realized sentience when born.
The bones:
The bones are composed of magnetic iron. The marrow which produces the blood is similar to molten steel by composition, hardening, and organic in nature. His bones grow back stronger, however, the softness of the iron causes them to be more likely to bend. Thus, comes the organic part of his bones and Marrow. The organic is both magical and mythical in nature. The magical aspect causes this to simply be possible. That an organic material can withstand temperatures in excess of that of the center of the sun. Immune to radio actives and magnetic influences, the marrow that produces his actual blood is heavily laced with magic. The biological sturdiness inherit to the marrow is carried into the blood.
The blood:
The reason why Phoenix blood in it's rawest form is coveted is it's healing magics. The older the incarnation, the more so it's powers exponentially increase. From bone and ligament in infancy similar to humans, to the carbon density and molecular stability and weight of iron over the courses of thousands of years. Internally, within bones and the central rib cage the blood runs hottest, in excess of a thousand degrees. The sturdiness in the blood is the resistance to fire it bestows, along with a rapid healing based on the Magic, and upon the rapid mending the marrow improves with the age of the phoenix, from the speed of a human (weeks) to steel cooling rapidly (Minutes or a mere thirty seconds) for that of a major wound. The magic comes in here, causing the blood to carbon copy the material it is bonding with or healing. If the magic is spend in the bonding (which with mortal creatures it always is), then the blood harmlessly dissipates within the body, the genes of the phoenix adapting and providing a temporary resilience to flames.
The bloods temperature towards the surface is similar if not the same as a humans.
Muscles:
The muscles, ligaments, and tendons are all primary composed of the same cords. The infusion of carbon has turned this into the opposite form of the spectrum as the bones. More of a series of threads, the carbon increases the density and tension capacity of the fibers that Knit these parts together. However, the difference between a normal human and an ancient phoenix is the two layers of the fibers in a system that is similar to a basic coating. This first layer absorbs and dispurses heat, and counteracts the magnetic current that underlies the the primary muscular structure of the body. Between this and that primary muscular structure that composes much of the body is another thin layer.
The nebula:
The equivelent to fatty tissue, it acts as a shock absorbtion for just nigh of a freight train. The Magnetic field that does escape the first layer of muscle is contained beneath this layer. A by product of this overall effect is the cooling of the blood as it moves between this layer and the last, the heat of the inner body is contained. Upon those Phoenixes that have been dissected, it has been noted that the nebula does not extend into the fingers or toes, ending just before the knuckle Typically this layer is less than a hundredth of a millimeter think. Harvesting it proves nigh impossible. As it rips easier than water on the pond. Presumably the blood passing through the membrane of it remending it and bonding it back together near instantly.
The Outer Muscular structure:
This is extremely similar to a humans, except the muscle mass is one fourth the amount, yet is approximately 64 times more effective. This is explained through the Tension allowed within the strands of muscle. The carbon itself is more an enhancement of durability rather than stoutness. This means that there are shorter lengths of muscle, yet, they have a higher pull. Like stretching a rubber band to its maximum length, and doing such forty times over due to the increase in durability and density. This leads them not to look exceptionally muscular, yet still be toned normally. There is one difference between the inner muscular structure and the outer. The outer is meant to store or create heat. The magical properties as well as pyretic resistance that the blood has allows a phoenix to channel this heat. Physically, it manifests as an aura or part of it. The magic that radiates in the blood can also be channeled for the purpose of spells or the like. They tend to be walking repositories of magic. This outer absorption of heat within the muscles causes any blood that surfaces to cool rapidly. On contact with the air, it normally evaporates, bonding the skin back together.
The skin:
About as human as it gets. It ranges from orange in color to a dusky human or tanned color. It rarely scars due to the healing factors of the blood.
