Xeralto - Xarelto, as it is called in America, is an anticoagulant – that is, a blood thinner. It is known across the word as Rivaroxaban. Xarelto, which is distributed by Janssen Pharmaceuticals, entered the American market in the year 2011. Janseen Pharmaceuticals is a branch owned by the drug company Johnson & Johnson. Xarelto was approved by the FDA, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, for various uses – the FDA approved its use as a prophylaxis for deep vein thrombosis.
