It's a hard thing to be, especially without any formal training from an experienced parental figure. Honestly all I have to go on, is my motherly instinct! Now that I have my own child, things are obviously different. Having a place to take care of on top of that, makes things busy. Especially if you aren't use to being the responsible person.
Now that being a parent is a thing, there's lots to worry about. Things that need to get done, don't get done? It's an important thing to provide food for your family! If your funds are low, you NEED to get foodstamps. I'm currently working on the foodstamp problem in this house. Obviously you have to be awake in the day time to make the phone calls though. Which it's currently 4:21 am right now, and I really need to sleep.
I know that if I wake up late tomorrow, I may not be able to contact the foodstamp office and update the information I need to update. It even has a deadline about getting done, on the 29th of this month! So yeah it's pretty important, and being responsible will help.
But it's also about providing financially. I am also pregnant again! So I am unable to work. However, my fiance and brother have been slacking on the matter. Getting a job just doesn't visit their mind much! It's all about youtube, and video games. How will we pay for the internet? We use our neighbors, unlocked wi-fi. Hopefully someone else in this house will want to be responsible.
