Straight Talk is by Wal-Mart they use the Tracphone network and offer unlimited for $45.00 a month. You get unlimited talk, texting and web access. When I tested one it worked great for talking and text but as they said you get web access. By this I found you get internet but not many applications. This is good phone is you live in area where Wal-Mart is available or if you do not have a card to pay. You can just go to Wal-Mart and pay or buy a refill card from them. Phone choices are ok but limited. I found even many Tracphone cannot be used on their system. So over not bad system but it is limited in both use and phone options.
Let's begin with WIT. What's great about texting is that it makes for some great comedy. You can think about your responses for as long as walkie talkies you want and rifle off some hilarious banter that's sure to build attraction. You can (and should) know where you want the texting conversation to go. And like a chess player, predict her responses and be 5 steps ahead. Needless to say, this is much easier to do over texting than in real time.
Any standard restaurant will have sufficient coverage with a 1-Watt UHF radio. Any wattage beyond that is not useful, unless you plan to go off site as well. In this case, you may want to look into a 2 or 4 watt walkie talkie.
That said, when you're out browsing and shopping for an FRS radio, try to make sure that the product you get has at least these 3 significant features.
