Aimpoint PROFESSIONAL Vs. Mini RDS
Aimpoint PRO Vs. Mini RDS

If this is your first visit, make sure to try the FAQ by clicking the hyperlink above. I'm happy with the Aimpoint Pro on the M4. Adjustable depth, rock stable and it comes with an honest quick release mount. The micros are great in case you're actually looking for smaller size and less weight. My H1 and T1 each ride on two of my bullpups since I'm lookin for a small and overall mild RDS. The Professional is on anything from my 556R to a different bullpup as well as customary on just a few m4s. The PROFESSIONAL sure is hard to beat at $four hundred with the mount... If money is just not a difficulty I would most likely go along with a H1/T1 setup though.

I have the PROFESSIONAL on my AUG proper now, and with the rear weight steadiness of the bullpup it is perfect for me. I like the bigger tube on that rifle and the marginally bigger field of view (which isn't actually a problem with both eyes open shooting). The mount is respectable although not practically as slick as an ARMS or ADM mount, but the price point makes the optic an excellent worth. I like the bigger tube on that rifle and the slightly bigger subject of view (which is not really a difficulty with both eyes open capturing).

Some need to look via the tube like a regular scope, but with both eyes open and focusing on the target the dot is simply imposed on the target vs wanting by the tunnel. With me, it has more to do with the location of the optic on the rifle so far as the sector of view is concerned with the PROFESSIONAL vs. the T1. When I'm using the red dot, I've each eyes open and don't actually notice the define of the tube in any respect. That is the bodily toughest Aimpoint sight, and it boasts the longest battery life as effectively (about 8 years on a single AA battery). Speaking of batteries, the only distinction between the M4 and the M4s is the situation of the battery compartment.

I run the PROFESSIONAL as far again on the rail of the AUG as it would go and with this placement, the PRO was less obstructive in my visual view that the T1 for causes possibly distinctive to me. On an M4 or an AK w/ the Ultimak tube, I favored the T1 as a result of the optic is farther forward (a lot farther ahead on the AK). The M4s battery compartment is near the bottom of the sight to make the sight extra low profile (that is the version we prefer).

Some need to look by the tube like an everyday scope, but with each eyes open and specializing in the goal the dot is just imposed on the goal vs looking by means of the tunnel. With me, it has more to do with the placement of the optic on the rifle as far as the field of view is worried with the PROFESSIONAL vs. the T1. After Aimpoint PRO I'm using the purple dot, I have each eyes open and do not actually discover the outline of the tube at all. That is the bodily hardest Aimpoint sight, and it boasts the longest battery life as properly (about eight years on a single AA battery). Talking of batteries, the only distinction between the M4 and the M4s is the location of the battery compartment.
