I had just gotten home, the lights were off, and before I could turn the switch, a shadow appeared from the corner of the room. It was Adrien, and I froze in my tracks, confused and slightly terrified wondering how the hell he'd gotten into my apartment.

He approached me slowly then shoved me into the wall, pinned my arms and grinned. I didn't know what to do and just stood there gaping, feeling completely powerless. His hand ran its way up my waist and lifted my shirt slightly, to reveal my scar (it's from a spine surgery, goes from just below my hip, all the way across my waist up to just under my shoulder blade.)

When he saw it, he ran a finger along it and grinned, his eyes flashed and then from nowhere he pulled a switchblade and opened up the scar as if it had never healed. He stuck his hand deep inside, reached up and into my ribcage and squeezed my heart; I screamed, then woke up breathing heavily with a searing pain in my side.
