We had a Mother's Day celebration for my mom-in-law along with her birthday and two of my children's birthdays. A good meal, the cake turned out very pretty with pastel yellow, blue and purple roses. 3nodding Tasted really good too, can't beat that. 4laugh Then we went to my mom's house, and delivered her mom's day gift and card. My mom was pleased too. 3nodding heart Finally, after a full day we ended up coming home rather late. My second daughter had been on her dad all day long about doing something, and I had just let it drop when something was said. Finally, he agreed to let what it was happen. So there was a flurry of excitement and I heard the garage door open. She had me close my eyes as she put the gifts and cards before me on the table. I opened my eyes and there sat a pot full of purple tulips to plant in my yard! 3nodding heart They were beautiful, next I noticed the cards, my husband's card, well I'll just type it out...

Some nights we're not together until it's time to go to sleep...
Sometimes the only way we talk is a quick...after the beep!
There are days our list of things to do can't possibly get done...
And evenings when we're simply too exhausted to have fun...
Although we're such a busy pair just keeping up with life.
I'd like to take today to say.... I'm sure glad you're my wife!

It's hard to put into words how much you mean to me.
Especially on days like this, when there are a thousand things I want to say to you.
But I don't need a lot of words to say what's always in my heart...

Then there was a little box, I opened that, and it looked like it had a mile of tissue paper in it, so I slowly unwrapped it and found a beautiful little glass unicorn sitting on a two inch base mirror, with an arch of multicolored stones. It is beautiful, and now is placed in my hutch in the living room. They all gave me hugs and kisses and I was told I was loved very much! Couldn't ask for more could I?.....
JazzKitteh/Snuggle Bunni also wrote and gave me a box of chocolates, the beautiful bouquet you see my avatar with at the moment, and a silver promise ring too! She really didn't have to do that, but it was so sweet, and I keep being torn as far as someone giving me gifts on Gaia. I don't want to hurt feelings, but it's also hard to accept them when I know they can use the gold for their own desires and quests? I did accept these from her, and the thought was so precious, it was well, just too sweet of her! 3nodding heart So a huge
