This whole weekend has been very eventful.On Saturday I went to the Renaissance Faire again,and got to see the joust again,all the while cheering for the evil Sir Moreck of Saxony.In the end he dies,but that was expected.Today (Mother's Day) I felt bad for waking up late and not making my mother breakfast in bed.Instead,we headed to the Angel game where the Angels played valiantly against the Seatle Mariners.Although the Angels lost,they had some of the best plays I had ever seen.
My aunt gave us the tickets,and they were in a suite with a couch,TV,and mini-fridge,and you go out the door and up like five steps to these seats that are right next to where the Mariners player warmed up before he batted.One foul ball went flying right by us,and I asked one of the Mariners named Betancourt to hand it to me.First,he threw it and it hit the net and rolled away,then he got it in there and I still have the ball.And these guys beat the Angels?And I apologize to any Mariners fans who read this.
My mom got a little tipsy along with my aunt and scared my brother because she was acting really weird.Once she sobered up,the hard reality that this was the first Mother's Day without my grandma (her mom).She watched the little slide show we made for her funeral and fell into tears,so I sat down with her to make her feel better.It's been a very eventful weekend.Oh,and I finally got started on the actual experiment part of my science project.If I fail this I can't get into Biology Honors,so wish me luck!
