I keep wanting to share a wee story but haven't found the right time/place to do so yet.
So, the other night I went with Mum and Grandpa and Tom for supper in the big city; it rained off and on all day, including on the drive to supper. Anyways, after a bit of rain, I saw a rainbow. Really big one too, though only the ends could be seen, the middle was behind all the clouds. Fast forward a bit, the rainbow goes into hiding and there's this wispy cloud a bit to the right of what would have been the center of the rainbow.
The cloud, I swear to all that is good and evil in the world that it was a leprechaun standing on a rock, watching over his rainbow to make sure nobody was trying to steal his. Pointed it out to mum and she agreed that it did look like that. A bit later, he was getting tired of standing there and sat beside his rock, back to it, possibly having a wee bit of a snooze.
I've wished since that I tried to get some pictures of it because it was all so perfect.
And yes, I do choose to believe in beings like leprechauns; perhaps it's the Irish in me, perhaps it's just one of those odd little things about me, be that as it may it is what it is.
