I'm Akie, but you can call me Faust or Neuro if you'd prefer. I'd take any one of them over my real name, which I don't willingly disclose because I have never in my life liked it.
I'm twenty-two, almost twenty-three come November, most assuredly male, and an on-again-off-again student of graphic design. I consider myself both asexual and aromantic, but who knows, maybe someday a guy will come along and change that. Doubtful, but all things are possible.
There are few things I like and many things I despise; I like to refer to myself as a "walking hate battery". This, of course, doesn't mean I simply go about my life being nasty to everyone and everything in my path for no apparent reason. I'm actually surprisingly friendly. You'd never know unless you talked to me first, though. I'm dreadfully shy and quite awkward to ice that particular socially-inept cake.
I enjoy video games, but I mean, what guy doesn't in this day and age? I prefer RPGs, both single-player and online, to any other genre. League of Legends stole my soul last year and I've still yet to get it back. Survival horror comes a pretty close second to RPG, however. Horror, in all its forms, is a great love of mine. I adore horror movies, horror stories, and just about anything else prefaced by the word "horror". Nothing interests me more than blood, gore, and dark supernatural beings when movie time rolls around.
Cats are a passion of mine, so should you be reckless brave enough to befriend me, prepare to be unapologetically peppered with random cat facts and pictures every now and again. If you ever want to win my favor, send me a picture of your cat.
Music is another passion of mine, both listening and producing. I couldn't begin to list all the artists I enjoy, my taste includes just about everything but country. I know that phrase has been used on the internet in relation to music since the dawn of time when dinosaurs roamed the earth, but it's actually true. EDM, rap, downtempo, pop, metal, it doesn't matter the genre, as long as the song's good. Unless it's country. ******** out of here with that s**t. As a producer, I enjoy playing with EDM, most notably house, but I realize that I'm s**t and as such create only for my own entertainment. There are too many shitty amateur producers nowadays with an overinflated ego over their stuff, I've never been one of them. I'm a realist.
If you can't detect sarcasm, you will absolutely not survive ten minutes with me. Sarcasm is my main method of communication, along with friendly teasing and jokes. Far too often people think I'm being a d**k because they can't tell I'm kidding. Perhaps it's because the internet's text-based medium makes it hard to decipher, maybe it's because vocally I don't change my inflection to reflect my sarcastic statements, but people generally have a hard time figuring out when to take me seriously at first. If you want a cheat code for that...(don't ever take me seriously unless we're having a serious discussion).
Any degree of interaction with me really comes down to patience. I require more patience than the average person. I'm difficult to understand. I'm extremely complicated. Sometimes, even I don't know why I do the things I do. I tend to be pretty frustrating to deal with, but once you get the hang of me, you'll realize...
...that I was definitely not worth all the effort you put into it and you'll feel pretty cheated. Or you won't. User experience may vary.
All in all, I'd say I'm nothing special. Just a horror-loving cat fanatic who's kind of douchey but also a pretty okay person deep down. If you're looking for a diamond in the rough, look elsewhere, I don't glitter and I never will. If you're looking for an already-refined lesser gem (maybe ruby or emerald or some s**t) that knows what it is and doesn't try to be anything but that, my private message inbox is always open.
