Dreams. What's in a dream? It's silent blaring atmosphere that lets the mind wander To think up bright moonbeams high above and dragon dungeons far below With witches and magicians, flying, and death Ogres that follow one step closer and you feel like you're running through quicksand Dreams where you fall forever in a blank abyss, cringing as you think of what happens when it stops. Dreams about school and love and everything inbetween. Where one can let reality be the side dish, or intermingle with the main course Because it holds to us the only high, The only drug, The only safe option of getting away; being free to think what our minds want to think A moment seems forever. And forever seems only a moment. Topsy turvey, black and whilte. What IS in a dream? But little thoughts and scraps. Pieced together By the ever-thinking mind. I hope I dream forever. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I haven't written in like two years, so it must stink majorly. I had a dream a long time ago. I wrote it down and for some reason, found it just today. I must've been psychic in another life because it's exactly what happened recently. =p That's never happened to me before. Then again, I don't usually remember to write down my dreams so I forget them. Hurr.

	I think your poem is very good, especially the imagery used. I usually don't remember any of my dreams either, but if something weighs heavily on my mind, I can usually dream about it for days on end. I usually don't end up enjoying those dreams, probably because if something weighs heavily on your mind, it's likely to be something that isn't pleasant. So while a dream can be a great way to escape from reality, it can also serve as a mental prison that reminds you of things you may not want to remember. Quite a paradox, isn't it?
