A little piece that, I have to say, turned out quite well for a first successful attempt at using rhyme! I tried in the past and it never worked - just bogged me down until I lost the poem. It was kind of odd actually. I had no intention of using rhyme (blank verse is my prefered style after all) but the rhyme flowed into the poetry without me realizing it!

I have written this poem for my department and because its an inspirational poem I titled it "Inspiratum" for them. But in reality it is based on a revelation that I had during a really dark and painful time that I went through a few years back. I survived, won the fight you could say, thus the title here.
