Past Bed Time
One night the Teen Titans had just finished their dinner and were watching a movie on the TV. The movie was about a ninja who loved an emperor's daughter. A forbidden love story it was. Than, when the movie was over it was time for bed. Robin said, "Ok, Sparrow. Time for bed."
"Aw! Come on. Do I have to?" asked Gemini. "Why can't I stay up late like you guys?"
"Because I'm your father and I said so. Now off to bed young lady. And your mother and I will come up, tuck you into bed, and read you a bed time story," said Robin. Crossing his arms.
"Fine," said Sparrow in a pout. She then marches herself out of the living room for her bed room. To dress in her pj's and pick out the storybook that she wants Robin and Starfire to read her.
"Hehe! You sure told her," laughed Cyborg.
"Yeah! You're father of the year," smirked Beast Boy. "And why don't you let her stay up?" he asked.
"Because she's too young to be staying up late. She needs her sleep incase we need to fight crime again tomarrow," explained Robin.
"True," agreed Cyborg.
"And we all know Sparrow gets all boiled up if she doesn't get enough sleep," said Raven.
"Awe! Like you?" teased Beast Boy. Who was met by Raven's glare.
After Sparrow got dressed in her pink pijamas with kitty cats did Starfire come walking in and asked, "Ready for bed?" Picking up a comb from her child's dresser and watches Sparrow hop onto her bed in a giggle. Starfire then brushes out Sparrow's long brown hair gently.
"Yes, mommy," replied Sparrow. Holding a white covered story book with the picture of a black kitty on it.
"Good," said Robin. He walks into the room and takes the book that Sparrow had picked out for story time tonight. The title read, "Mr Kitty."
Robin then read the book as Starfire and Sparrow snuggled together against some pillows. Listening to the Titan leader read out loud, sounding out the character voices for Sparrow. When story time was over, Sparrow had fell asleep. Starfire then tucked her in, both she and Robin kissed her forehead, and left the child's room after turning off the lights. And when all the Titans had finally went to bed did Sparrow wake up and giggled quietly as she snook out of her room and walked into the living room. She hopped herself on the sofa giggling. Sparrow grabbed the remote and turned the TV on but put it on low volume so no one else can here it. And she stayed up all night.
When morning came was Sparrow still asleep was asleep. She slept until ten. Then someone knocked on her door and it was Raven. "Come on young lady. Time to get up," said Raven. Hearing the child's mumble on the other side of the bed.
"K," grumbled Sparrow. Sparrow then got out of bed, dressed a little funny, and walked out of her room like a zombie.
When Sparrow finally reached the main room, she joined the others at the dinning table and Cyborg place a bowl of cereal down on the table for her. She sat down, looked at the cereal with sleepy eyes, and dropped face into the bowl. Falling right back to sleep.
"Sparrow?" said Robin.
"Bumgorf," said Starfire.
"Oo! I think someone was up late last night," said Beast Boy.
"But Robin and I had put her to bed just last night," said Starfire. Confused as to why Sparrow was so tired when she supposely fell right to sleep as soon Robin was finished reading the book.
"Would someone please wake her up," said Robin. He crossed his arms in disappointment. "Star? I believe our daughter has fooled us."
"How rude," she glared.
"You guys might want to cover your ears," said Cyborg. Then they all coverd their ears as Cyborg rubbed his hands together and yelled, "YO! SPARROW! WAKE UP!"
Sparrow then woke up yelling, "TEEN TITANS GO!" She than took notice of her surrounding. Everyone was starring at her with glares and crossed arms. "What?" she asked. Feeling confused.
"You stayed up last night didn't you?" asked an angry mother Starfire.
"Sparrow," mumbled an angry Raven.
"Answer the question young lady," said a very very angry Robin.
"Yes," answered Sparrow. Looking down at her food. "Sorry," she apologizes and looks back up with her puppy eyes.
It suddenly softens everybody else but Robin. "Aw! She's so cute" smiles Beast Boy. "How can you stay angry at that whittle face!" Pinching her cheeks. Raven rolls her eyes and Starfire giggles.
"Just like her mother," said Cyborg. Causing Starfire to blush and giggle.
Robin could see that Sparrow was winning over everyone else's acceptence but his. He looks from them to his daughter and gives out a big sigh. Running a hand down his face and glances back at Sparrow. "Alright!" he sighs. "You're off the hook but do it again and you're grounded. Understand?" he told her.
"Ok daddy," smiles Sparrow cutely.
