Have you ever wondered,
What happens,
When the lights go out,
And the world goes dark,
While hide under the covers,
Safe in your room,
Sleeping peacefully,
Next to the one you love,
The world still goes on,
And the night creatures stir,
Watching the innocent,
In silent disgust,
Waiting for the day,
When the light won’t return,
And they can be free,
To take over again.
