The ISFP in love ISFPs are warm and giving individuals who possess very deep affection. This affection isn’t apparent to everyone except those who are close to the ISFP. They are generally light-hearted but possess intense feeling due to their dominant feeling preference. Unlike most SP (experiencers), the ISFP has the desire to create and maintain lifelong relationships.
The dominant introverted feeling typically causes ISFPs to have bad or awkward communication skills, especially when in an argument. It’s believed that their introverted feeling is a weakness in the ISFP’s eyes, and therefore will hold back that part of themselves. Any type of confrontation or argument is very threatening to them, as they consider it a personal attack upon themselves. If the ISFP creates the habit of holding back their feelings, this can cause some significant problems when in a relationship.
In bed, the ISFP approaches intimacy as a way to interact with their mates on a deep level. They typically won’t express their love through verbal affirmation, but through actions will their partner experience the ISFPs true love.
The ISFPs need an almost daily helping of affirmation in order to feel good about themselves. They enjoy being praised, but not any overly affirmative support or cheesy praise. The best gift a partner could their the ISFP is the expression of affection and admiration.
