I've come up with something else to ramble about. I don't know how it happened, but I've taken up playing Pokemon again. Now, I've never really been a huge fan of this franchise, but I actually like quite a few of the handheld games. I think it all started when I was browsing Google for funny comics, and I came across one called "Mysterious Stranger Gengar", featuring Gengar selling drugs to four-year-olds or something and then my face probably looked like this: emotion_dowant .
It was then when I realized the awesomeness of Gengar and started playing SoulSilver so I could get one. And since I got Gengar, then I started looking at some of the anime episodes with Gengar, which brought me to another thought.
It was then I realized why I never really liked the anime. Even with the awesomeness that is Gengar, I still thought it was ******** stupid, and I thought the same thing 10 years ago. Why? Well, for one thing, why do all the Pokemon say their names all the time? I mean, a dog doesn't cry out "dog!" all the time. Back when I was a kid, I would get quite upset about this. And this is the older episodes! I've heard that the newer ones really suck.
But...maybe the anime didn't get worse, maybe I just grew up. I mean, even though I wasn't very fond of it, I could still sit and watch it. Now, when I was watching it, I had a look like this on my face the whole time: emotion_donotwant .
That is until Gengar came on. Then I was like: emotion_dowant . Then Gengar left, and I was like emotion_donotwant again. (I love emotion_donotwant and emotion_dowant )
Anyhow, also why does Ash always go like, "Whoa, what's that?!" Especially, say, he sees a Haunter, and it goes like "haunter!" and he still asks that. Since Pikachu says "pikachu!" all the time, you'd think he'd figure that it's a Haunter. The writers made Ash out to be such a ******** moron. And they made ******** out to be a little b*****d. But maybe they meant to?
Who knows.
So to wrap up this pointless Pokemon rant, I leave any bored readers with this:
