Kiss Digital X, and Kiss X2 the japanese versions of the north american Rebel XTI, and Rebel XSI released in 2007-2008. Got them for less than $200 each.
These DSLR's are quite old, but still good. Not the Prosumer, but entrylevel type having a cropped CMOS rather than a full one. They lack video mode of its successors 2009 onwards. Don't matter to me my bridge cameras can do that.
They shoot really good though kinda sucks that they are of the basic design without the veri-angle LCD of which I love so much. Mainly bought them because of Kiss in their names as well as customizable firmware add-ons. Unfortunately the Kiss X2 doesn't have such thing which I later found out. likely going to sell that in favor of the bridge camera Canon SX40HS which is far more modern with custom firmware.
