Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, for Louis R. Esposito, 81, of Cambridge, who died Monday (Nov. 29, 2004) at the home of his daughter. The Rev. Fr. Robert Borer will officiate. Burial will be in Flat Ridge Cemetery. Military graveside services will be conducted by the Guernsey County Veterans Council. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today (Tuesday) at the funeral home. He was born Aug. 6, 1923, in Rootstown, son of the late Guy Esposito and Rose (Scarariclk) Esposito. Mr. Esposito was employed as plant engineer at March Electric for many years, and was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division. He received the Purple Heart for his service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline (Paserk) Esposito, in 1984. They were married Oct. 26, 1946. He leaves two daughters, Tina (Phil) Archer of Kimbolton and Annette (Duane) Thomas of Pataskala; four brothers, Tony Esposito of Ravenna, Joe (Shirley) Esposito of Cambridge, Al Esposito of Texas and Bill (Bessie) Anthony of Norwalk; two sisters, Mary Vaughn of North Carolina and Annie Brown of Ravenna; five grandchildren, Chad (Kaci) Kinnan and Chris (Robin) Kinnan, both of Kimbolton, and Rachel, Sarah and Lydia Thomas, all of Pataskala; three great-grandchildren, Levi Kinnan, Austin Daniels and Preston Daniels.
