She's a broken angel deep in despair
Just watches teardrops fall into her hair
Curses him for leaving her on her own
Then lets out a scream that chills to the bone
Her tears touch his skin to burn him with guilt
He can not see how his death makes her wilt
By leaving her here he tore off her wings
Because he is gone her heart just won't sing
She looks up and silently prays for death
Just thinking about him catches her breath
Choking out tears next to his lifeless form
Her cries muffled by the approaching storm
Now no one can fix her sad broken heart
In taking his life, he tore hers apart
