Wears his Mk VII Spec Ops Unifrom customized to fit his own style, underneath that he wears the Shadow Armor. He wears the balaclava over his face to hide his appearance out in the field. Trident wears and advanced Vision Visor, that gives him many different modes to see, they are made of an advanced ballistic non-reflective material. Attached to his uniform there is a hood that he does use to help hide his appearance when it is needed. Trident can also wear and extra ballistic assault vest over his uniform for more protection. He always wears his Dog Tags, with silencers, around his neck; tucked in to his uniform. Because of his Special Operations background, he keeps an extra dog tag laced into one of his boots. He is rarely seen out of his combat fatigues or battledress uniforms.

Biography:
A combat veteran of over a hundred silent wars, John Trident is one of the most experienced and highly respected covert operators in the U.S. intelligence community. Before his NSA career, Trident was a CIA Operative within the Special Activities Division, a member of the Special Operations Group, a highly decorated sailor in the U.S. Navy, where he rose to the rank of Lieutenant while serving in the Navy SEALs as an operator of SEAL Team 3, and a Tier One operator within United States Naval Special Warfare Development Group (Seal Team 6) of the Joint Special Operations Command.
John had come from a very long line of soldiers, every male Member of his family has served in the military since before the founding of the United States. Every member has been the best that they can be, it was a family tradition and a hard name to live up to. Trident was born and raised in Japan, when his parents were stationed there. John grew up on base, making many friends and learning Martial Arts with other kids his age.. At that young age he knew what he wanted to do, he could be seen training and preparing for his life in the Military, getting physically and mentally tough. When it was time to do his part for his country he enlisted and joined the Navy, at 18, going to the United States Naval Academy. He graduated at the top of his class, excelling in all subjects and not only participating in sports but leading teams to victory.
After he graduated he went to Navy SEAL selection and training. He had prepared his whole life for this moment and nothing was going to stop him from getting the title of SEAL. It was the toughest thing he had ever been through up to that point and they were unable to break him. During training he made sure to not let his fellow Sailors quit and give up, he pushed them to do better. When the training came to an end, he passed at the top of his class earning the title and Trident of a Navy SEAL. He was selected for Seal Team 3, stationed at Naval Amphibious Base Coronado.Trident went on many operations, down range, with the Seals and leading the his own small team.
While on leave from the front lines, John was at a village, near a small military base, that came under attack from a large hostile force. He quickly relieved one of the hostiles from his weapon and began to engage and fight off the rest of the enemy. He was single handedly able to hold off the large enemy assault on a the village, using only the rifle, his bladed weapons, and bare hands, until reinforcements could arrive. He saved countless lives in the process of risking his own life on more then one occasion. For heroism in the line of duty, he was decorated with medals for his Valor, going above and beyond the Call of Duty, but he refused to take the prestigious honor.
Trident had caught the eye of the Tier One Operators, Seal Team 6, they wanted him to join their unit and had a need for his special set of skills. With his new Unit he was called in for a high risk mission, to strike at the enemy and cripple them. He went on many missions with them, all over the world, and with no one knowing they were there. During the mission he was captured so that his team could escape safely, he was held as a prisoner of war. He was able to escape from his cell using only a Bobby pin and his bare hands, the bobby pin was not only used to pick the cell's lock but as a weapon to kill the guards silently. He eliminated most of the enemy and set the other POW's free and led them all to their freedom, not loosing a single one of them. When he got back to the states he was presented with another medal for his Act of Valor, for risking his life to save his team and leading the prisoners to their freedom and families. John did not want to take the medal again and refused to take it.
He was recruited by the CIA Special Activities Division because of his certain skill set, and abilities. He was selected for the Special Observation Group and put through more rigorous training. He would no longer be working with a team, he would be alone during his missions, he would be able to get the job down that a larger team would fail at. He passed the CIA training and was ready to begin his missions in the Black Ops. He was sent all over the world, even on the own soil of the United States, putting down people and groups who directly want to harm and kill Americans. During these level of mission know one knew where he was or what exactly what he was doing. Trident was the best Agent and Operative that they had, they gave him a mission he would get it done. Though fully aware and confident of his abilities, John understands that his survival has often been a gift of chance. He knows he is human and fallible, and he does not want to die.
Trident has been involved in numerous armed conflicts throughout the world, many of them unconventional. Over the course of his extensive service career, he has served in hot spots such as the Persian Gulf (Iraq, Kuwait, etc.), Iran, Colombia, Senegal, and Afghanistan as well as taking covert assignments in North Korea, South Korea, Russia, Panama, Germany, Myanmar, China, Japan, the Republic of Georgia, and even the United States amongst several others. He has not only survived, but has also excelled in the field of covert operations through hard work, insatiable curiosity and brutal honesty. Combat, espionage and constant training have defined his adult life; his tactical experience has become part of his instinct. He is quiet, instinctive, and observant: somebody who watches from the outside. Even outside of work he is most comfortable on the fringes of society, keenly observant but still removed.
Trident was needed in the NSA for a new program, the program produced and deployed Units of highly-trained forward operators as the ultimate intelligence gathering force, with the support of a cutting edge technological team to retrieve information through traditional espionage techniques, but with 21st century technology. For these mission, he was sent to The Farm, where we would undergo the last bit of technology training that he would need, and to go through evaluations to see if he was the right man for the job. He became one of the first field Agents of this new group, Becoming one of the best if not the best out there.

United States Naval Academy Graduate: When at the USNA, he excelled as a Midshipman there. He graduated at the very top of his class, he worked hard in every class that he took giving everything that he had, and lead several sports teams to victory as the team Captain, over the four years at the school.
Combat Veteran: He is a combat expert and veteran, nothing can make him flinch and he can handle in situation he lands himself in. He has fought in almost every battlefield, warfare zone. He will always adapt and overcome any objective and obstacle.

Arashikage Techniques: The Cloak of the Chameleon: Using extreme physical control, the Cloak of the Chameleon alters breathing and circulatory patterns, in order to perfectly mimic the sounds of another person. The Ear That Sees: An exercise that concentrates hearing, to compensate for loss of sight. The Ear That Sees allows a warrior to identify a foe through sound alone, with cues such as heartbeat, the sound of cloth against cloth, and the patterns of breathing and other movement. The Sleeping Phoenix: This technique mimics death, by exerting extreme physical control over involuntary bodily processes. It has proven valuable in fooling enemies, and in extending survival. The Blind Sword: A lesser sword fighting technique that allows the practitioner to defend itself on no visibility conditions, consisting in just extending the sword using its scabbard for touch and compensate loss of sight. The Seven Steps to the Sun: A series of strikes to different vital pressure points on the body, disabling it and bringing the opponent to his knees, followed up with a knuckled-palm strike to the forehead causing the brain to shut down instantly.
Expert Knife Fighter: He is an exceptional knife fighter who carries a few different types of edged weapons, preferring the Tanto, style knives. He carries many knives on him at one time, from folding pocket knives to fixed blades. He not only can fight well with these weapons, he can throw them with deadly accuracy.
Master Ninja: Trident learned Ninjitsu, while living in Japan, over the years and has become a master of the art of stealth and the art of espionage. He is a master of all their weapons and tools and tries to find a way to implement them, in to his modern missions.
Swordsmen: While in Japan, Trident learned the way of the sword, Kendo. He learned how to use a sword, specifically the Katana and Ninjato, with deadly efficiency. He is deadly with the blade, and doesn't even need to use a gun in combat when he has a sword with him. He as mastered all forms of Japanese Swordsmanship, from Ni-Ten Ichi Ryu to Iaido and others.
Weapons Expert: His a master of all firearms on the battlefield. He can pick up any weapon he can get his hands and field strip it with his eyes closed. Undo any jams and repair them getting them firing again in almost no time. Trident is qualified in all weapons implemented in the US military. John is also trained in the use of less conventional weaponry, like a bow and Arrow.
Pistoleer: Trident is highly trained to use a pistol, handgun, he is deadly accurate with them. He is trained in the use of dual wielding them, but normally only uses one of them in combat. He has trained heavily on all pistols, especially the Mk 23 SOCOM, and prefers this over any other pistol.
Expert Marksman: He is an exceptional marksman, who is ambidextrous. He is skilled in sharpshooting. He can use any number of firearms and is one of the top shooters in the Military. Trident is qualified Expert in all weapons implemented in US military.
Sniper: He went to the Scout Sniper School. He trained extensive on all of the weapon systems used by the US Military. He surpassed the instructors there and could easily out shoot them on a bad day.
Pointman: He takes the initiative and takes the lead. He assumes the first and most exposed position in a combat formation, that is, the lead soldier advancing through hostile or unsecured territory. He always made sure the path was safe for his fellow soldiers to follow him. He is always in a state of constant and extreme operational alertness.
Expert Parachutist: Trident went to Airborne school, during SEAL Training, and passed, is a Master Parachutist for both normal jumps and free fall jumps, and is a qualified jump master. He as jumped from heights that have only been done a few times. He jumped from a height of over 100,000 feet, 20 miles up, he needed a special suit so that his blood would not pool.
Expert Air Assault: John is qualified to fast rope into combat from a helicopter. Where a plane can't get him the helicopter can, getting him into the fight faster. He has jumped from them with a parachute, at high heights and with out at lower heights while the helicopter hovered over the water.
Amphibious Assault: As a SEAL, Trident is a master of Sea to Land fighting. He can storm any beach and shore and secure a beach head with his team. Further advancing and continuing on with the mission.
Guerrilla Warfare Master: He has been trained extensively in Unconventional Warfare and tactics; such as ambushes, sabotage, raids, the element of surprise, using extraordinary mobility to harass a larger and less-mobile traditional army, or strike a vulnerable target, and withdraw almost immediately.
Scout and Reconnaissance: Trident as worked and trained as a scout and in Recon for years. He can get into an area before the main force gets there and find all enemy position and locations of any important locations of strategic importance. He is able to report it all back, giving detailed information to the people that need it the most.
Demolitions Expert: He received training as a Combat Engineer, passing with flying colors. He can breach almost anything that he can come across on the battlefield, from Brick, Wood, or Steel he will get through it with the right breaching charge.
Master of Assault: He is always in the front lines and in the thick of the fight. He can storm a building, hill, trench, and any thing that the enemy is holding and take it. He is a hard charger and a ground pounder.
Combat Diver: He is an Expert Swimmer, he is trained on SCUBA, Rebreather and free diving. He spends as much time in water as he does on land. He can insert from the water miles out and swim up onto shore or swim into rivers and insert closer to a target.
Close Quarter Battle (CQB) Master: Once he gets into a close quarters area, he can easily switch gears. Clearing the location, room to room, corridor to hallway. He has trained relentlessly to prefect his methods to prevent collateral damage on his team and civilians.
Gunsmith: John over the years of being around guns and working around them has been able to modify and customize his firearms for his own needs. He has been professionally instructed to be able to an enhance a firearm far beyond its stock limits.
Expert Infantry: He is a combat expert and veteran, nothing can make him flinch and he can handle in situation he lands himself in.
Stealth Expert: Trident is able to move silently remaining undetected from any he may come across. He can infiltrate an area, and get out, without raising the alarm. He can easily hide in any area blending in and disappearing with out a trace, sneaking up right behind you. As the nature of John's job relies on stealth and non-detection, he is highly adept at blending into shadows and moving silently. As an expert in field craft, he is able to sneak up on most opponents undetected and quickly subdue them using either lethal or non-lethal means. Trident relies on improvised techniques on top of the training he received over the years. Biometric data indicated that he's actually better at identifying targets, while operating from concealment, which makes him a very dangerous threat to his opponents in dark environments.
Trident is also skilled in marking and executing multiple targets simultaneously. His standard M.O. starts with a hand-to-hand take down, after which he picks his targets and positions himself to eliminate them. He's also been known to mark explosives and environment-based traps this way. Even if the enemy thinks he's not targeting them directly, they may still be in the line of fire. John can vanish, flank his enemies and leave them shooting at the spot where they thought he was, right up until the moment he eliminates them. Although enemies are aware of his actual position, Trident always catches them off guard by making them rely on his last known, which gets them killed.
Parkour: He can transition over the battlefield effortlessly, no matter the type of environment. It also him efficiently move around obstacles, as he comes across them or as the pop up. John is extremely agile and athletic. He is capable of many different climbing and scaling abilities, such as step-jumping to climb raised walls, performing the infamous "Split Jump", a split leg maneuver, to keep himself supported for a long period of time, as well as being able to hold on tightly to ceiling pipes or even the undercarriage of a moving train. He is also strong enough to lift the body of a full grown man onto his back and carry it around, and can run somewhat faster than the average soldier. Trident uses unorthodox climbing techniques (i.e. split jumps, half split jumps, difficult techniques to climb pipes). John's acrobatic maneuvers extend to using not only walls, but also furniture and even human beings to push off from in order to escape. Strictly speaking these are not unarmed combat techniques. He also utilizes some aspects of parkour while surmounting obstacles, albeit in a slightly slower and stealthier way. As a result, Trident may have combined these three disciplines together, if so, then he has perfected something very formidable indeed.
