So. Band camp started. Its been a real let down. I went over to Connors today. Had fun, though Connor was being quite dull again, watching Futurama in order. Regardless, it was quite nice. I dont even go over to Connors to see him in the first place. From there I went to band camp. Not a great walk there, but it is what it is. Had a pretty stupid practice. Had one new kid who couldnt even play trumpet in trumpet sectionals. I might be switched to first chair for the show tunes. That would be great, but I am ill-prepared for first chair, I dont have the range yet. But, I will. Today was a nice warm-up for my lesson tomorrow. Then Friday I have band camp at 12, possibly 8 a.m. After band camp, I dont know. I havent planned that far. I guess Ill see whats in store when I get there.
