how life is
Heh. Nothing more then the rambling of a crazy kid. My word's heed wisdom and stupidity. It's up to you to decide if you want to read.
Test 2
"Command repeat, This is Ghost One Actual, Reaper activity has been confirmed! Were pinned down! Requesting immediate air support on our position!"

Negative Ghost One Actual! All air support is already engaged in defending the Crucible! We have no ship's to spare!

It all started as fast as it ended. So fast that there was no time to defend agiasnt it. No time to evacuate the planet. The machine's poured down like angel's of death, bellowing their cries as city's were laid to waste. Reaper's. That was the name given to them by the Prothean's 50,000 year's ago. A race so old that there is no trace of it's existence. Whether this is because they have only showed up once before and annihilated every species in the universe...or they remove all trace of their comings, making every new species who grow and travel the stars think that they are nothing more then a myth? There is no for sure answer. All that was certain was that the last time they came, life ended.

"If we don't get any air support, we'll be defending alot more then just the Crucible! We're getting overrun here! These Husk's are everywhere!"

The Reaper's struck so fast that Humanity had no chance to put up a fight. How could they? The Reapers were the strongest force in the galaxy. Nothing could stop them. The Battle of the Citadel proved that year's ago. It showed all the races in the universe how strong the Reapers were, and how hard they were to kill. It took all the races and their fleets to destroy the first Reaper to enter this cycle, Sovereign. Even then, heavy losses were takin. But this wasn't only because of their superior fire power. They had ability to turn friend's against friend's. To make make Humanity have to destroy Humanity. There was two way's of doing so. The first were called Husk's. Human's that had been changed at the genetic level to serve the Reapers. They were the foot soldier's, and for every one that was killed, a hundred more replaced it. The second process was known as Indoctrination. Yet even knowing the ability, Humanity had no way to stop it, nor how to even understand it.

Beside's, last time, Sovereign was the only Reaper attacking the galactic races, and it had the Geth on it's side. Now...the entire Reaper Armada was here, led by Harbinger, and they were converting and harvesting every species they came across turning them to destroy their own kind. And upon their arrival, Earth was lost in a matter of minutes.

I told you, we just don-

"What about the Turiens?! Or the Krogan?! Salarian, Quarian, Geth, I don't care! Get someone down here now!"

Commander Koul! This Captain Vekron, 2nd platoon, Turian Special Forces! We have received your distress call and our en route with a Heavy Hitter! But were flying blind! You need to Lase the target!

"Copy that Captain! Wait to deploy on my mark!"

Commander Ethan Koul. Alliance Navy. Commander of the SSV Horizon, and member of the N7 Program. Ethan was stationed at a military check point near the Galactic Embassy for the Alliance. Today was supposed to be a big day. Humanity's hero was being trialed with the murder of over three hundred thousand Batarians in the Bahak System. The hero's name was Commander Shepard. Alliance Navy, Commander of the SSV Normandy, and fellow member of the N7 Program. Much older then Ethan however, as Ethan had only just turned twenty-two, while Shepard must have been in his thirties. Ethan himself never knew. He had never actually met the man, only heard of the stories on how Shepard led the universe to defend the Citadel, save the Council, and destroy Sovereign. He was indeed a hero.

"Alright! Clear Comms! Listen up! We need to hold the line just a little longer! We have to give Admiral Anderson and Commander Shepard the time they need to get to the Normandy! It's our only chance of making our last push! Alpha Squad, watch the West Flank! Echo, you got the East! The rest of you keep your eye's North! Shoot anything that isn't a Council Race! I'm going to try and laser their desg the Harvester's to stop their ground forces!"

Ethan, gripping his Sniper Rifle "Black Widow", jumped up from his prone position in the rubble of a destroyed building. Cover was almost non-existent at this point. The Reapers burned anything that stood or moved, their Husks scouring the debris for anyone hiding. He had to be fast, he had to be smart, the fate of Commander Shepard and Earth itself rested on this whole operation falling in place. Everyone was depending on his team...on him. I won't let them down! His mind cried with a fiery determination. Earth would not fall because of him! This was not the end of Humanity!
