Appearance Mme Adora stands at 5'6" flatfooted, though it's rare to see as such. In her trademark boots, she reaches 5'9". Long black hair is a crown on her head, though only worn up in a bun to go outside. It is only to those she gets to know well that she will lower her hair for. A milky white complexion, almost sickly pale. Her eyes are a dull grey blue, the color of mirky water. The woman gobs on makeup, covering her small signs of aging, and other 'imperfections' she finds everyday. She is almost blind in one eye, but corrects it with her monocle.She weighs in at 126 pounds. Her waist is cinched exaggerating her figure even further. Her measurements are:

Due to her wearing the corset so much, more than 15 hours each day to maintain her figure, this has drastically disfigured her body as well as much of her insides. Unfortuately, thanks to that fact, she is unable to bear children.

Personality When she was young, Adora was a carefree girl, generally nice and kind. When she joined the circus, however, that joyful attitude melted into one of bitterness and hatred. She is likely to snap when pushed too far. The woman always feels like she's being judged, so most of the time she wears and emotional mask. Thanks to her profession her usual emotion is something between a fake hospitality, or pure contempt. Only when she is shown true kindness will her chilly disposition melt away.
Abilities No outstanding abilities, other than a quick wit. Only weapon is her cane with a compartment for poison and a switch to make the cane a blade. She has been known to use her fan as a light beating object if needed.
Weaknesses Emotionally: Her hatred is the biggest weakness, preventing her from being open to new people, and generally detering them from her.
Physically: Her body is actually in poor shape from starving herself for days to keep her in her corset. She is succeptable to the germs in the world from a lowered immune system, again from malnourishment. Due to her smoking, she has a rather nasty cough sometimes, usually producing a grey mucus.
Backstory Adora came screaming into the world to a loving couple of newlyweds. The infant was unexpected and only born three months into their marriage. Her toddler years and childhood to the age of four were spent in her country home with her poor parents. She was their first child, but was sent away before she knew of any others. It was easy to see that she enjoyed the farm her parents owned, each morning she would venture out and play with the smaller animals, staying out all day and returning home filthy as the pigs she rolled around with most days. Unfortuately, that happiness was soon to end. Adora's mother received a letter from her mother Maurgarite, demanding that her only granddaughter grow up in a home where she didn't 'grovel with swine.'
When she moved from the country, Adora was heartbroken. She would forever remember her mother's face that day as she rode away in the black car. The woman's expression was sullen and tearstreaked, clearly just as heartbroken as the girl. For the first year, the girl was angry, not only from being taken away from her parents, but also from having to leave the beautiful country and forced into the 'dirty city'. Though, with time, Adora came to know and love Maurgarite just as she did her own mother. As soon as one year had passed, the old woman enrolled the girl in a school to become elegant... a true lady. The school included classes on dancing, eloqution, and manners. For ten years she attended the institution diligently, emerging a young lady... and a proper one at that. At that time, she began to dress much like she does in her future years. Her grandmother invested in corsets and fancy skirts for her, wanting to make her body suitable for a woman of her breeding. Each day, Adora requested her dresser to tie her corset a little tighter, which she refused to take off until she was in bed. As the months passed, her waist dwindled down ten inches, attracting lots of attention. However, this attention mostly came from a man who only watched from a distance. One day he made his way over to the young woman and spoke with her about her waist, then offerred her a job. At first, the lady was a bit put off by the thought of working at a circus, though, she finally accepted. She kept the details of her work secret from her grandmother, knowing Maurgarite would be unhappy having a sideshow granddaughter.
As she worked in the circus, she found more and more disgust in most beings who flock to see her abnormality. Sadly, each day she had to put up with people swarming to see her and her bretheren, and all of the 'normal folk' calling her a freak. Returning to her elegance lessons, Adora simply bit her tongue, and her pride with it as well. As soon as she made it though her first three months, the young woman was introduced to the sweet burn of tobacco. Over a span of six years, she accepted the branding of the public, wearing it almost as a badge. It kept people away from her, not to mention the scowl she usually wore. The time came where she just existed in the circus, desiring more from her life. Finally, Adora left the troupe, wandering around in hopes of finding a more permanent job.
