Gentleman and Ladies,
Welcome to my journal. For inside i have written many things. This will be the first of which i allow you to see. Who am I? Well I am the Spirit that wanders the halls and rooms of the Opera house. No, i am not the Opera Ghost that has caused the terrible incidents of the Opera Populaire. I am the opposite of the old Opera Ghost. I am the Opera Spirit, the other side of the coin that is the Opera Ghost. Where he is the Angel of Darkness, I am the Angel of Light. He and i are the two sides of a coin. He had fallen into despair and wallowed in his loneliness. I looked to hope and wished to cure others of loneliness. I heal, he destroyed. He has changed now, become more of an Angel of Music than he ever had been.
I grew up with Erik, the Phantom, when we were small children. We were beaten by the same man. I however, had an escape. I was sold to a kind man who adopted me as his own daughter. I may have had scars but i did not let that hinder my new life. He allowed his own darkness to consume him. I did not allow hatred and fear to consume me.
We met again when we were older, in a new Opera House, after the burning of the Opera Populaire. He had changed, become more calm and at ease. HE wished to find beauty in the world. I wished to show him a happy life. For i had always wanted to give him happiness, to love him as he had never been loved, and perhaps, maybe someday, earn his love in return.
In the End, I did earn his love, and we are living happily together. Although now we coach new young talent for a different reason, to give the gift of music and never ask for anything in return. So we coach others to let their talent shine like the stars. This is what we love and we are known to give music to the young ones for their own light.
Now I am sorry but i must be off. Erik will be expecting me soon and I do not wish to be writing when he returns. I wish you pleasantries.
