Start of a story of mine. As of yet it has no title and some of the characters have no names. I just haven't found any that suit them to my liking. Give it a read and let me know what you think? Give me some suggestions?
The woman just stared at ***, her eyes with a tinge of pity, but mostly amusement. “What do you think this is? Some sort of anime or cartoon?” She moved hers hands apart and shrugged. “You wanna fly or leap tall buildings in a single leap? Then learn the magic behind it and practise. It doesn’t just appear because you’ve been chosen...” *** stared right back, hand still clutching the bracelet she’d just had shoved in her hands.
“Okay...but how do I learn then?” She gestured towards the laptop still playing her favourite anime. “I want to be able to jump like that.” She woman glanced at the laptop and slid a look back at ***.
“You’ve got everything you need. Intelligence,” She raised a hand and ran it through her short black hair. “Although I’m starting to doubt it a little bit.” ***’s eyes narrowed. “You also have a fair bit of agility, I watched one of your games the other night.” She pointed at *** with a grin. “You are way scary on the court.” She flicked her hand, gesturing at *** as a whole. “And you have the book, so You can figure it ou-“
“What book? You didn’t give me a book.” *** spread her hands, a look of annoyance gracing her normally serene face. “What’s the deal? You give me half the stuff then ditch?” The woman snorted lightly.
“You HAVE got the book. The first lesson is how to open the thing.” She pointed at the bracelet. “Try reading first, huh? Lucky for you the instructions are on the outside nowadays.” She turned and waved a hand. “Ciao, good luck.” She snapped her fingers and was gone, leaving the scent of her perfume behind. *** blinked at the swift exit then glanced down at the bracelet in her hand, seeing the small engraving surrounding the one blue gemstone. Looking closer she growled and threw the piece of jewellery onto her bed.
“It’s not even in ENGLISH!”
