The pain I feel,
the love I've lost.
All surround me,
they spin and swirl like an angry hurricane
Destroying anything and everything in its path.
I stand out in the howling wind,
listening and watching as the memories flash by.
Thunder rumbles, like the angry and violent voices in my head
more memories flashing like lightning of everything that has happened.
A drop of rain hits me and starts stirring up the emotions more.
A small tree flies by where i'm standing, its branches twisting and shaking harshly.
I miss laying by trees and just daydreaming with out caring about the time
I see metal twisting and signs bending out of shape.
It reminds me of my heart and all the damage that has been wrought on it.
I can feel each thump but they aren't normal, each feels slightly pained and slow.
the winds get harder and faster, i'm barely able to stand upright
The thunder rumbles and grumbles harder, shaking my chest and body.
A few tears slide down my cheeks but are invisible thanks to the fresh rain.
My heart aches and thuds even more. each lightning strike and flash is a painful reminder
they remind me of how much of my life has flashed by.
the lives and hearts i've wounded...
the winds pick up and keep moving along just like the flow of life..
