Just finished the new season of a new Scooby Doo, observe my facebook status.

DARN YOU SCOOBY DOO! I NEVER EXPECTED YOU TO LEAVE ME WITH A CLIFFHANGER! And no reports of when the next season is coming out either! NoooOOOOOOooooo

Yeah, it was a great twist too. It was one of those great "It can't be! But I know it's true." cry moments for the characters. (Mainly Fred.)
For the record, I do think that the mayor loved Fred like a son. The beginning of episode 15, convinces me more then the end of episode 26.
I totally get why he's leaving though, and why he doesn't want to stick it out with Daphne right now. I mean, so much of the guy's life was trying to gain his father's approval and now suddenly he's not his dad, not even his adopted dad, he's just some guy, knew his parents, and kidnapped him to get rid of them.

Man, it stinks to be Fred right now.

Over all thoughts
What I didn't like
1. I took issue with the new animation. Specifically their eyes, and Fred's chin.
2. Velma, some how she became a pushy control freak man eater in relation to Shaggy... It gets better after they break up and she gets over him. She tried to make him choose who he cared about more, her or Scooby! She should have stopped trying to make him choose. Like Shaggy's gonna choose her over Scoob, puh-lease.
3. Fred, that boy has some PROBLEMS.
4. Scooby speaks in complete sentences. Where's the charades?!
5. Velma's bows. She does not need bows, and if she did, they would serve more purpose then these do.

But I do like some stuff.
1. The plot (I like having story arcs.)
2. Angel
3. Professor Pericles (I don't know, having the bird be a kinda anti hero. I like him.)
4. The fact that they keep running into mysteries about monsters MAKES SENSE. (Because of where they are.)
5. Mr. E (I love puns, and Scooby Doo had to meet up with a Mr. E at some point. I'm happy it's a mystery and a consistent character. Though I don't like him as a person.)
