We sit on the beach watching the sun go down and we look at each other and smile, we mostly think we know what the other is thinking. The waves sounds serene as the we listen to the seagulls scream to one another, the sun is at its very last tip of light. You ask if I wanna go, and as you get up I say" no I'd like to stay a little longer" you look at me and sit back down I say "just wait you'll see." We sit and talk a little longer and night starts to come the moon rises and you look up and say "hey, its a full moon tonight" I say "yea I know" I smile once again and you smile in slight confusion. We sit in silence for a little bit and i start to fiddle with something to my side and you ask "what are you doing" I say "nothing, do you wanna walk down to the water real quick" you say sure, we walk down to the water and we look to the water and I say its quiet, you agree and I second with "the water looks like millions of diamonds from the stars" you smile and say "yea they kinda do." I say its beautiful, and you say "yea I love the ocean" and I reply not the ocean you say "huh?" I say "not the ocean..this moment and so are you," you look to me and smile your eyes glimmer just like the water. I start to walk back to where we sat and I pause for a second and say "when we go to sit back down, I want you to sit where i sat" you look at me with confusion and i say "lets just sit" we sit and you sit where I sat and i say "now look to your side and look at the shell, don't pick it up yet, read the message next to it" you reply "its kinda hard to see even with the moonlight" I hand you my phone and i say "read the time" you look and its 11:11, you tell the time and I say "ok now read the message" you read and say "oh my god" I look to you and say "did your wish come true" the message written in the sand is I love you and will you marry me, you start to tear up and I say "ok now you can pick up the shell" inside the shell is the ring you always wanted and I say "that ring holds everything dear to my heart and every moment, and I want to spend the rest of my days with you knowing more of those days of happiness will come even through tough times" you say "yes" in a raspy teary voice, and I say "thank you, you just made my life"
