More than a pretty face

Your touch is an imprisonment
That I would never hope to resist
Your image is a light
That could never possibly birth resent
If only at the drop of a hat
I could cause you to manifest
To bring forth strength that i lack
seems to you to be an effortless act

Much more than a pretty face
It seems I've come to find
your even more amazing
as I look upon the inside

Your touch is a confinement
of such that I would never long to break free
Your image is too strong to fight
But one that I'd happily forfeit to see
If only in a single heartbeat
I could cause you to resurrect
To bring forth more strength that is inside
If it were only an effortless act

Much more than a pretty face
It seems Ive come to find
your even more miraculous
when peering upon the inside

Your touch is a brand that burns
but a pain that washes away all discomfort
Your image is a shower in a time of famine
an evaporation of all needless effort
If only in the passing of a single second
I could make you manifest
To bring forth more strength than I possess
If it were only an act so effortless

You are so much more gorgeous
