Mesmerized by the fire in your eyes
Distracted from the disguised lies
Cryptic words that passed unnoticed
Through deaf ears so unfocused
Despite my damaged pride
I am happy that part of me has died
your memories, your bread crumb trail
Is all that lingers within this shell

Of time, of mental rhyme and reason
The coldest day of the warmest season
You are faint and futile with no more vitality
Than a pin framed moth invoking insanity

My how the tables have turned
My how your wretched heart has burned
With every touch from those you don't love
From every whisper you thought wasn't loud enough
I told you only what was true and just
But through your lust was devoured my trust
Tell me just how bad it really burns
When your whole world is shaken and turned

Into flame, into mental maims and scars
The darkest night and the dimmest star
You are faint and futile with no more vitality
Than a pin framed moth invoking insanity

Desperate cries now heard as lies
For you have no credit in these eyes
I have seen through menacing things
That blind are the ones who are too trusting
I will not mend that crown thats broken in
It is time your reign finally meets its end

For the ill intended words and actions your chose
