I must have been having some kind of disorienting half-awake dream when I woke up this morning, because I was having rather surrealist, disjointed thoughts of random stream-of-consciousness words. And I haven't even read anything like that lately. Go figure.

I need to do more mythological research, and I actually really want to, so hopefully I can get to that today. My sister and I might go out and look at the Nook later, as she's potentially interested in buying one. And I'll probably spend my giftcard there on getting more FMA.

Last night my sister and two of her friends ate out with me at Aladdin's, where I had tasty lentil soup and tiramisu. I also got a surprising number of phone calls on my birthday - the expected ones from relatives, and the surprise ones from friends (Moo, Adam, and Ebbs). I haven't been on the phone so much in quite a long time. I also feel like a bad friend because I rarely call people, not even on their birthdays.

I also heard yesterday that they still hold the Feast of Steve at my old college on my birthday, which makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. All hail Steve!
