I have two guinea pigs. blaugh One is a long-haired guinea pig, who is a bit of a spazz, named Po. He is "Po" because when we got him from a breeder family, he was named "Potion" and..That's a bit unusual, right? So we shortened it to Po. Po is so friendly and lovable, he loves to be held and he doesn't squeak much..I've actually started chatting to him by squeaking. He seems to understand, and he squeaks back like crazy. He's one year old and is a new breed of guinea pig called a "Coronet". All long fur, and at the front of their faces, they have a cute little "V" shape. The V tip at the bottom is at his nose, the top parts go over his eyes and make him look like he has eyebrows. 4laugh
Our other guinea pig is a short-haired pig with an attitude. cool His name is Guiness, and he's a little younger than Po, but they're both one year old. They fight, so we need to keep them apart. sweatdrop Two boys'll do that...Guiness has a mohawk from the top of his head to a little more than half of his back. He never likes messing up his "do". He's very fat and doesn't like moving. We have little guinea pig leashes for both of them, Guiness LOATHES that leash! He twists and squeaks, then pushes his butt into the corner. sweatdrop Man, he hates that thing...*sigh* but we take him out anyway, without the leash, and let him do what he wants. Well..he doesn't WANT to move, so he sits where he's been placed with no noise, like nothing ever happened, and he never actually came out of his cage. He normally only moves if:
1. Food is not close by!
2. He's thirsty, and the water bottle never moves it's place.
3. A scary hand is coming at him!
