Got the ultrasound today to double check on the baby's heart. All is well. ^_^
Everything is going great with everything! I'm almost caught up on all of my housework, and hopefully my friend will be able to come over tomorrow and help me finish it all. Even if she plays with my daughter, Lyric, the whole time that's fine with me. That way I won't have to worry about Lyric following me around everywhere and messing up everything I just did, so I'll be able to get a lot more done. And probably quicker too. And Lyric's hand is still healing very well. The new skin on her palm is starting to look less red every day. Still hoping it's not going to scar all to bad. But it's just a matter of a waiting game now, and keep doing what they tell me to do.
Went over to another friend's house today that I haven't seen in well over a month, and caught up on everything. Her baby is four months younger than my daughter, and he's almost bigger than she is! He is one chunky monkey, but he is so adorable! I think one of my favorite little mans. ^^ And she went and picked up some clothes for Lyric and Liliana (name of new baby). Quite a bit too. They were free, but still, she didn't have to pick up anything for us, and she still did. She is one of the nicest and sweetest girls I know. If only I could return the favor, but it's hard with her and her husband living on the base, while me and mine live off of it, and each couple only has one car. And my husband has it for work majority of the time, and he works odd hours. And they're having car problems, so that makes it even more difficult now. But everything eventually works out in the end. I just have to keep my out for something either for her, or her son.
But I was on a roll this morning! Got up roughly around 9:30, maybe a little later. Cleaned the kitchen, got my dishes washing in the dishwasher, got my husband's uniform in the washer and dryer, fed Lyric, got her bathed and dressed, Got her bagged all packed to go, (since I had the ultrasound today), refreshed our guinea pig's food and water, got all of the movies and video games back on the shelves where they belong (no thanks to Lyric), got all of Lyric's toys gathered up, and generally put away, all before 11:45 am. Now some little things don't seem like all that much. But considering I didn't sleep well last night, so I'm very tired, plus with all of the pregnancy crap added to that, that's a hellofalot I got done in that short timespan. And if I had came home right after my ultrasound I would have gotten a lot more done. But I decided since I was in the area and she had watched Lyric for me anyway, while I was getting the ultrasound done, to visit and catch up with my friend.
But all and all I have to say a very productive day, and a good one at that! I'm hoping tomorrow goes just as well or even better. ^_^
