I realized one of the reasons I don't play much Final Fantasy anymore.
I get really depressed whenever I play. It reminds me of middle school, which were not necessarily better times but ones where I wasn't sad all the time. I admit I was a terrible person in middle school, but at least I had that content, happy feeling being surrounded by all my friends. Few of whom I have left.
I really need to get back on playing them. I have so many video games in general that I have yet to finish. I really hope that Versus XIII will break this cycle of depressing Final Fantasy gameplay for me. Because I think if I played VII right now, I might just cry.
