Love cannot be blind
For if it were, how could it find
The one for me, the one for you
The one that will never be untrue
It has brought us together and torn us apart,
It has wreaked havock upon our hearts
Love can be great, love can be grand
Love is a pillar upon which we can stand
Love can be terrible, love can be scary
Love does not do anything fairly
It's like a bloodhound
No matter where we hide, we can always be found
It's not right, it's not fair
That we in its trap it will ensnare
It's not right to live without it
But some people give up and just quit
They quit looking, quit caring
Quit wanting, quit sharing
It's not fair, but then, what is?
What's life without a hit and miss
But if we don't love, we cannot be loved in return
And alone we will be, don't we ever learn?
Can't we see that Love is an uncontrollable force
That with or without we must endorse
We want it, we need it
We long for it, we beseech it
Everyone has loved once or twice
Some love people thrice
We must realize we cannot control who we love
Life is a game of push and shove
So don't hold back, let it out
Stand up, scream and shout
Tell the person that you love them
If you don't, it will be mayhem
Don't wait until it's too late
If you don't say it, you will suffocate
Make sure you let them know
Your love you must always show
