Chapter 1/ History

Within Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, there are 4 houses. Hufflepuff, Gryffindor, Slytherin, and Ravenclaw.

Slytherin and Ravenclaw are the two 'dark' houses. They befriend people in their own, or other, house. Never, in the long history of Hogwarts, has a member of a dark house ever befriend a person belonging to a 'light' house. That is, until now.

Chapter 2/ Watchful Eyes

Axel Nakarato and Fumaki Alucard. A Ravenclaw and a Slytherin. Friends with only each other, and both happily single. They mostly kept to themselves, shrouded in mystery. That only continued to lure in George and Ron Weasley.
They were simply infatuated with the two girls, and day-dreamed about them. They longed to speak to the girls, but it was foolish. The Wesley's were Gryffindors - they'd be lucky to even stand next to the girls, without getting a good scolding from Professor Snape.

Even though Axel was in Ravenclaw, Snape protected her like she was one of his precious Slytherins. And in all knowledge, she could have been - if Ravenclaw hasn't been a few kids short that year.

As always, the boys shared their daily 'Study Hall' with their objects of infatuations. In the dungeons of Hogwarts, Professor Snape watched all the students, the girls in particular, do their work. Most of them were doing homework for his Potions class, which he was very irritated that it was a day late. The two redheads, instead of working, stared at the girls from across the room.

They were polar opposites. The Slytherin had raven hair, and a pair of eyes to match - a perfect fit for someone in a dark house. George sighed, as he stared at those eyes from his seat.

On the other end of the spectrum say Axel. Long, blond hair, with strange golden-green eyes; her image didn't fit Ravenclaw in the slightest. That's one of the many things that drew Ron in.

Axel stood, nodded at Snape, and walked out of the dungeons - something only a Slytherin could do. Axel was the exception, no matter what. Fumaki soon stood, and followed suit.

George and Ron both noticed this, and they smiled. Turning in their Potions assignment - not even close to being done - and practically ran out of the dungeons after the girls.

Rounding the corner out into the courtyard, they dove against the wall when they heard voices. Across the courtyard, in the hall were Fumaki and Axel.

"You said 'no'...to Draco Malfoy?" The quiet, and rarely heard, voice of the blackette resonated in the small space.

"Of course. He's a disgusting pig. I would never date him." The blond sneered.

"Why? He's a...a Malfoy." The Slytherin girl sounded as of she wanted to say something else.

"For lack of a better term, yes. And that's one of the reasons I hate him! Everyone goes on about the Malfoy's...they just don't sit right with me." The Weasley boys saw her shudder.

"Then...who would you date? Someone from Hufflepuff?" The blackette laughed, and noticed that her friend didn't deny the statement.

"Well...not a Hufflepuff..."

"A Gryffindor?"

"S-shut up! Yes, happy now?" Axel tried to walk away from her friend, and into the courtyard, but the Slytherin stopped her.

"No! not until you tell me who you like!" She exclaimed, blocking the door with her body.

"Equivalent Exchanged. You tell me who you like, and I'll spill my guts."

"N-no way! I don't like anyone!" Alucard countered, still blocking Axel's view of the Weasley boys.

"George Weasley."

"...Excuse me?"

"George. You think he's funny, smart, and cute." Axel folded her arms, smirking.

"How did you - ?"

"You talk in your sleep. And you doze off in Flitwick's class, sometimes."

George's heart fluttered at Axel's words. 'She really likes me?' A blush decorated his face, making his freckles stand out.

"And don't worry. He likes you, too." The Ravenclaw stated.

"Oh? And how do you know?" Fumaki countered, eyebrow quirked.

"Because, he's blushing like an idiot." Nakarato sighed, pointing at the twin. Both boys froze against the wall.

Raven connected with emerald, and they seemed to get everything they needed to know from that one, long glance. Silently, George stood, took Fumaki's hand, and lead her down the hall, Axel watching them go.

"A-axel?" The blond turned, to see that she was alone with Ron.

"Yeah?"

"If you don't mine me asking...who do you like?" A smiled graced her face, and she kissed his cheek.

"You." She laughed, and skipped down the hall, after her friends.

"Hey! Wait for me!" Ron blushed, and chased after her.

From behind a near-by pillar, Professor Snape nodded, and walked in the opposite direction. He was very pleased with the girl's choices. He'd be watching the Wesley's like a hawk, now. 'They better not hurt them...potions are very nice for hiding poisons...'
