Tensa Zangetsu seems to be a little more than Ichigo thought; but it's almost to be expected--he probably knows all of Ichigo's moves; he IS his sword, after all.
The question is asked:
"What you just said...
'Why should I care about what you want to protect?'
What do you mean when you say something like that...?!"
Zangetsu is silent for a moment as Ichigo further inquires,
"I...thought you would lend out your strength for my sake...
Is that my misunderstanding...?
Up until now...Just what were you thinking when you lent me your power...?!"
It is revealed that the world they are currently in is a replica ((ANOTHER ONE?!)) of Karakura Town, which Ichigo seems to have failed to notice before.
"The constant raining in this world has stopped!
But in return, everything sunk into this sea!!

Because you despaired and ceased to walk forward."
Diving a hand into Ichigo's chest, Tensa makes a powerful statement--
"Ichigo.
I won't let you remain this way.
Right here and now,
I'm going to pull out the source of your despair."
And as Ichigo looks up, it seems he has succeeded.
There, standing atop the building all in monochrome, stands Ichigo's hollow form; long horns and mask covering his face--but Ichigo does not recognize him this time, not until he removes his mask.
We cut back to Karakura now; where Keigo and Tatsuki are still carrying their unconscious friends. They're talking about Mizuiro, who they assume is still asleep somewhere.
They mention Yuzu, Karin, and Isshin briefly, figuring they're all asleep too; but their peaceful walk has come to an end. An overwhelming spiritual pressure has come over them, bringing Tatsuki to her knees.
Aizen and Gin have found the little group, and Aizen remarks that it's 'Amazing' that they didn't just die when he came upon them.
He brings out his sword then--whoa he still has Kyouka?--and pointing it at Tatsuki, tells her that her and the other's deaths will bring Ichigo and his 'new power' closer to perfection.
Tatsuki is terrified, screaming at Keigo to run as fast as he can away, and he complies. She's left alone with the sleeping body of her friend on her back, to face death, unable to move herself.
As our chapter ends, however, it seems all is not lost--a bootfall behind her from an unknown owner closes us--but whose is it??
