Sleepless Nights and Caffeine
Watching, waiting... ducking when the s**t hits the fan...
this one's old, but needed
The s**t apparently likes to hit the fan
And someone stole my umbrella.

Anyway, as most of the town knows, Amy got sick of Andrew hanging out in the bathroom, so as soon as he walked in, she told him to leave. She was met with his usual insults -- insinuations that she is rude and immature. Oh well. He can get over it. We paid for the apartment, not him. Then Stephanie got upset about it and they both came out into the living room. I went into my room for a moment, then came back out to get my phone. By the time I picked up my phone, Stephanie and Andrew were both blocking my way back to my room -- probably not intentionally, but I felt too uncomfortable to move, so I just sat down at my computer and tried to finish doing my homework. Stephanie started getting pissed because her boyfriend was told to leave. She assumed that I had something to do with it because she got upset whenever Cliff was around. I didn't have a damn thing to do with it. Amy was getting sick of her shower being tied up for hours and having to walk past Andrew in a damn towel. The only reason I was even in the room was because I needed my phone. Anyway, Amira was sitting in the living room, studying for Spanish (or translating poetry) and she was obviously disturbed by the conflict. She decided to try and mediate. Well, Stephanie began to blame everything on me (calling me "HER" the whole time), and accused us of conspiring against her. Of course this upset Amira, along with Amy and myself. Amira told Stephanie that we were not conspiring against her, that I had a name, and that I had nothing to do with it. Stephanie didn't accept that, and started yelling. This was the point where I tuned out the screaming so I could ignore it hurting my ears. Well, apparently I ignored it long enough for things to go all to hell. When I turned around, Stephanie was slapping, punching, and clawing at Amira while trying to wrestle her to the floor. I got up, weaseled myself behind the bookcase, and called Public Safety. By the time I got off the phone, the fight had ended, and there was a clear path to get out of the apartment. I ran next door and sat on Peter's couch until Public Safety arrived.

A few days later, Amira went downtown to get a warrant put out. Apparently, Stephanie's father had called and accused us of attacking her. As a result, Public Safety has washed their hands of it. However, we all will appear before Dr Harshbarger on Feb. 9, and hopefully something will result of it. Stephanie's housing contract is under review, and if she keeps lying, I know Harshbarger isn't going to put up with it.

Anyway, she's supposed to get the last of her s**t out of here on Sunday. Anything left after that point gets given to us or donated to charity.

Ben's got dibs on the chair.

I still think it's ridiculous that she's taking so long to get her s**t out of the apartment. We've all had homework, and we never know when she's going to leave early or just completely bail. I'm tired of being kicked out of my apartment for hours at a time. She ******** up. Give her the hell.
